I have a video download of one senior lecturer from one of the Universities in US. If you send me your email address, I will send the download to you. It is about 700MB. I think CSS is interesting. Is it complicated? I am not sure. But, I am sure CSS is very very interesting.

Beside this download that I have, there are several videos on Youtube, very very good videos that will teach you CSS.

Have you heard of mobile-first development, that's what I do, when you develop for the mobile version first, you won't find responsiveness difficult, you just need to adjust it to fit desktop version.

Try purchasing courses from lynda, udemy, linkedinlearning e.t.c These remote learning courses uses some methodologies and best practices that will get you up and running in a short time. You may need a senior developer to answer some questions outside the scope of the courses you purchased. I have latest and quality courses (in video formats) from lynda and linkedinlearning that will get you up to speed. each course cost just 2k. let me know if you are intrested

I would advise that you make you're learning project-based - think of a product that you would want to create, then start building and learn while on the job. That way you would have experience and also a project to showcase on your portfolio to highlight your competencies. This is from experience, learning programming for programming sake is going to be dull and strenuous. But by building something you are able to gauge your progress.

They're a lot of FREE resources to help you in your journey.

https://developer.mozilla.org --- This site in invaluable, it contains guides, tutorials and references to almost everything pertaining to web technologies.
