Tomorrow we make exactly a month that the acclaimed Lekki Massacre happened (I wasn't there). The claimed event has resulted into wanton destruction of the lives and properties not only in Lagos State but other parts of the country.

So far, we have seen videos and pictures to substantiate the claims of the victims and witnesses and in fact, a internationally reputed news house, CNN claimed to have verified the claims of the victims through their investigative journalism- further asserting that the event really happened.

The Federal Government of Nigeria and the Nigerian Army on the other hand are claiming that the Army were indeed present at the said event but only shot in the air to disperse the crowd not into the crowd as claimed by the eye witnesses and victims. They have however challenged the members of the public to approach the Lagos State Judiciary Panel if they have members of their family or know anyone who lost his/her life at the Lekki Toll Gate. Till now, nobody has come out. Some people has however attributed the absence of witnesses at the panel to FEAR.

Logically, I will tell you that both parties have valid points as we have pictures and video evidences and yet no body to show for it but one thing is certain, a party is saying the truth while the other is covering it. However, a question popped in my mind this morning while ruminating on the claims of both parties and here is the question:

Lagos State confirmed two dead!!! Did they died of cholera? it baffles me when people who claim intelligence are devoid of great reasoning!
An average Nigerian soldier shld be taller than a barricade, else they are shooting while lying on ground, there is no way bullets should have hit a barricade.
I understand your opinion of at least finding bullet holes on structures or buildings, but you should understand that it's a large area and with the few soldiers present and some shooting in the air, there is a possibility of no stray bullets hitting walls or structure,

BTW the NA are trained personels, u don't expect them to shoot stray bullets like the godforsaken police!
