ednut1:I knew all these, he mentioned great job and to my understanding of great job doesn't include blue collar job. When there is too much expectations that's why some do regret because they were expecting that "great job" . I never said you can't get that great job but it is likely to start from somewhere. I agreed with all other points which included easy way of getting citizenship after fews years and doing it for their kids ☺. 1 Like |

How about another option? Go abroad and set up a nice life for yourself back home. Let's be honest. No one really wants to leave. Even those comfortable abroad always think about home. Use that foreign money to set a bunch of businesses up. Build a home. Save a bit. Maybe get some investment real estate abroad. Then go home and live like a king. Early retirement basically. You can spend the rest of your days starting more businesses or acquiring more investment real estate. |

Subomi007: I'm glad some people appreciate my presence here. Most people who talk don't have any experience living in both systems. To be honest most are truly ignorant. I mean you pay taxes in naija, yet you still pay for school fees, hospital bill, etc, you're actually paying double. Abroad you pay your taxes and you enjoy life knowing all the essentials are covered. Taxes are paid here WITH PRIDE. Another person is now saying they can't do 6 months of cold weather. Yet they can do 12 months of a Buhari administration, 12 months of sars, 12 months of Nigerian police, 12 months of no running water, etc. Just comedians on these boards. 12 Likes 1 Share |

Petyprincess: People who have regrets migrating to Canada were most likely a loser in naija. Canada gives you opportunities. You have to go and grab them, and make a way for yourself. They're already giving you a passport, a working system, peace, stability, etc. You now want them to go find you that great job? Laser, loser ass youths these days. 3 Likes |

elmoduddah: There's really good threads on it. Canada's website is also excellent. Go back and take some time to carefully review. You can also email immigration and provincial resources about these details, but please don't do so unless you've thoroughly reviewed other resources. |
