Camera isn't only the difference sha. Charging and NFC are also there as well as slightly better GPU clock speed so if all this are what interests you it is worth it

N/B:. Boss, I was able to see it in customising the start menu in camera, you have to add it to the menu for it to appear plus other options like short video, panaroma, etc.

snapdragon processors generally manage energy more than their mtk counterparts. For me, its snapdragon or i am not using. Exynos(samsung) and kirin(huawei) processors are good in battery mmanagement too. Oh i forgot, redmi 8 is 720p at 6.2 inch which should generally consume less battery but redmi 9 is full hd at 6.53 inch
