I would advise that you make you're learning project-based - think of a product that you would want to create, then start building and learn while on the job. That way you would have experience and also a project to showcase on your portfolio to highlight your competencies. This is from experience, learning programming for programming sake is going to be dull and strenuous. But by building something you are able to gauge your progress.

They're a lot of FREE resources to help you in your journey.

[url]FreeCodeCamp.org[/url] --- Here you would find a guide with hands-on projects to help you learn web-dev.

https://developer.mozilla.org --- This site in invaluable, it contains guides, tutorials and references to almost everything pertaining to web technologies.

Besides this, Google is your best friend. Learn how to use it productively to search for problems you encounter. Most questions you're likely to ask, someone has asked before - a lot of them are on [url]stackoverflow.com[/url] and other sites.

Like I said, it would take time, try to be consistent and dedicate time each day-- if possible-- to your learning.

He was pretty much confused cos the way u mentioned firefox made it seem like it was something unique to firefox ONLY
and he's trying to tell you its pretty much standard for all browsers and its called DevTools for short.
