I have a question oo pls, Why is it difficult to secure a visa if immigrating to an Atlantic province?

This is because their tuition fees are cheaper and the Atlantic province is the easiest place to secure your PR without stress. The visa officers are fully aware of this, that's why prospective international students find it very challenging getting approval with some of the schools there and only a few are granted visa.

I'm overwhelmed with complaints and enquires at the moment, I'll appreciate it if you can send the letter to other knowledgeable gurus on this platform to assist with the vetting process. I sincerely apologise for any inconveniences this might cause you.

In the meantime, should you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask here.

An application is complete only when the applicant has done their biometrics, medical, and submitted all the required documents. According to IRCC, it's only then that the given processing time starts counting.

Oh okay. Thanks a lot for the information, I wasn't aware of this.

Sir, does it mean one should not apply for schools in Atlantic province ?.

Keep on logging in to check your application and if you have done your medicals and it hasn’t be passed yet, send webforms to nairobi, china and IRCC itself and attach your medical soft copy document with it. And also send them emails too that you have done your medicals and it hasnt been passed yet. Add your application number and UCI number including the date you applied. I did all this before my application was updated

It's not compulsory to do it, even if you get the email it's just an advert it's either you accept it or ignore it. Your application will still be processed normal

I sent to Lagos VAC, this is my first application so i only paid UPS for two way courier.
I attached my Biometric slip which was given to me when I provided my data.

For the price, it depends on your location and the courier company (either DHL or UPS), the price can range from N3,800 to N4,500 within Lagos.

I'm not sure of other locations

Go ahead please. They are both different applications and IRCC will not hold anything against you as they allow individuals with dual intent. So you will be judged solely as a student when you apply for SP.

Good evening gurus in the house, can someone who has applied for express entry and didn't qualify apply for student visa? What are the chances of getting the student visa considering he has applied for express entry before.

There is no negative impact having a dual intent. As a matter of fact, having 2 intents (1 for temporary residence and 1 for permanent residence) is legitimate. However, while applying for study permit you must demonstrate that you're a bonafide student who will study on a temporary basis and return home after studies.

Okay... Thanks so much

I think if you don't do it, your application processing will be paused till the deadline. In the status of my application, they wrote action required. IRCC created areas for me to upload IELTS result and mybankstatement certificate. And they clearly stated that the normal process will continue if I don't upload the required documents for NSE by Dec 19th. So, between now and then, my application will be on hold. This is really unfair and I see it as way for them to just buy time, since this 30 days waiting period won't be part of the processing time. If I wasn't being funded mostly by the school, I would have opted for NSE quickly, to avoid this 30 days wait.
