Well i got to know about nairaland through airtel freebasics.

i found the site intresting and remained to read stories on the literature section. cool

i spent most of my times as a guest before creating an account recently undecided
even though nairaland has become toxic and unintresting i still find time to visit and read news even though i have found other intresting sites like Listverse and markmanson.net cool
Does d site allow dialogues like nl.

Hello everyone how are you all doing ?
I just want to ask few questions to all the old nairalanders when I mean old i mean from 2006 to 2010.if you login anything above 2010 don't bother to comments cause phone is already rampant then.
My questions are as follows ;

1 . which phone do you use to login then ? what's the name and maker?
2 . Who introduced you to the forum then ? And what do you find interesting about it
3 . For those that don't make use of phone then. how do you login ? Or do you go to café ?
4 . if you're an old member on this forum and you're still active. State some of your reasons for still being active.

Google always direct me to Nairaland that year, anything I typed. I latter learnt its cos I was using. google.com.ng extension
I'm active cos of some certain sections else this place is no longer worth it. From moderators brutality to tribalistic comments with no consequences etc

I'm not really a hustler and I don't ask women or people for things — they just give me willingly. I respect myself to the point that I don't demand or ask. I stay focused on my path, but fortunately, I get favor easily without asking. So, I don't see myself as a hustler, but a grower. Someone who doesn't "hustle to the top," but takes his time to "grow to the top."

The iPhone was launched today and she bought it that exact day without letting me know. When she gave it to me, I declined. She had to beg and give reasons and I took it at last. This was after rejecting a BlackBerry she gave me.

I don't really like getting things for free from people — it makes me feel like I'm owing them. I hate to owe. I prefer giving to people to taking from them. Unfortunately, there are times you'll be forced or convinced to take; and I did take it.

1. Nokia Ngage
2. I found it in university, I was doing Opera mini free browsing hack then and the phone section and programming section
4. My work involves me sitting on the computer, working and listening to music. I am still here because I get PC parts, phones and buy and sell games via here.

1 . which phone do you use to login then ? what's the name and maker? Nokia C2 or so. It is a red slide Nokia. Very pretty
2 . Who introduced you to the forum then ? And what do you find interesting about it. My ex. He was always on NL and back then I was always harassing him to register me because of all the interesting topics he usually showed me, so one day, I held him at knife point and forced him to register. cheesy He chose my username because it is my mum's pet name for me.

I have an Old account deactivated or couldn't remember the password

1. Can't remember, maybe a Sony? More likely to have logged in using laptop

2. Found it when researching stable broadband to use for a visit to las gidi. Found so many useful tips and people with first hand experience willing to share and discuss - was the banking boom then so many discussions in career, technology, travel and tourism

3. PC, laptop...was in school then work always had access

4. Still some sane sections more reading than posting now

If you like be as old as Methuselah, if your emotional quotient doesn't reflect that, you've only aged, and thus, still a child.

I'm just seeing this topic even though I barely frequent this section...but I just feel like talking/typing today.

When I joined Nairaland I used to access it through cyber cafes. Most phones then weren't internet enabled and the few internet available ones then were so expensive. And as a student what I could afford back then was a torch light Nokia.

No one did actually...I was searching for universities in Nigeria that was during my jamb days and Nairaland popped up. I registered and became and active member.

And back then Nairaland was like a small family everyone knew everyone. Once you're an active member you'll be popular unlike now that the website has grown to an extent that you barely even take note of monkiers you quote.

Cafe...sometimes I go there buy time and spend the whole time on Nairaland...the forum was so lovely back then. No scammers with multiple ids no tribal bigots, no haters... just a small group of people who actually care for one another.

Hmmm...I'm mostly on ghost mode tho...I read news on the front page threads. Nairaland is very updated on that. So even if I'm in the office I'll always have Nairaland on my browser and from time to time I'll refrsh to read what's new on the home page. Also I'll say I'm quite addicted to Nairaland...

Are you scared to use Yuzedo's full title?. Chief sweetus, THE AMUNEKEUTO 1 OF BANANA ICELAND. He was the best. Yes i do miss him. He goes beserk anytime a picture is posted showing Rita 'Dummynik' with Ramsy Noah.

I have been a member since 2007 or thereabout. I had to drop my original moniker because it looked so much like "Chino". as we all know Chino was a complete nuisance here then. I did not want to be confused with him. Nairaland was much fun then. Still is tho.
