As far as i know, Fiji is good as a holiday/tourist destination. But to pack your bags and relocation there from Nigeria is a no-no.... 3 Likes |

optimusprime2:OOK sir. I know you know better but u do not not it all. That u feel that there is acute poverty there doesn't change the fact that Nigeria's poverty is chronic. This acute poverty stricken small island country's money value is Quite impressive. 1 USD= 2fijian dollars (FJ$). 1FJ$=₦174. I really do not need to tell u d details of my relocation, but if u don't like a place, u don't have to say nobody should 'go near Fiji regardless of the job offer'. One thing I know is this, any opportunity given to one that is better than one's current situation, it's better to grab it. 8 Likes |

aijaydiva: -1 I never said you shouldn't go, (as the saying goes; "a man who attempts to swallow a stone, knows the size of his throat" by all means if you know what you are doing, then go ahead. -2 Ah abeg o ... lol, I am not even claiming to know better, I am only saying my opinion based on the information I gathered about Fiji, from previous experiences, so I may not know what you know. -3 So because the currency is high it means the economy is thriving? For your info, apart from Vanuatu, New Caledonia and French Polynesia that require constant aid and are basically fisherman villages, almost all Pacific Nations have shared trade alliance and linked economies, so most of their currencies are seemingly at par -which is why even Papau New Guinea appears to have a strong currency on paper, but in reality the country itself is struggling. Unless you tell me you intend to Migrate to either Australia or New Zealand (which is not a bad Idea) my opinion about Fiji remains unchanged. -4 Please update us about your progress though. 3 Likes |

You people have started again trying to go to other people's countries with the intent of overstaying when you know you don't have the right visa like work permit or permanent residency to live in said country. Fiji is a small island country. It does not have enough jobs for foreigners. When they try to warn you people you never listen. When other nations' citizens begin to treat you people with hostility, you people will start to cry or complain. Very soon, no country will allow Nigerians into their country again. We are currently in the middle of a pandemic. Sit down in one place. 1 Like |

Fiji is not a place to go and hustle. It's a beautiful place though. And I'm sure it would be nice to visit. |

Fiji is not a place to hustle! I hear Nigeria too is not a place to hustle. Living in ordinary Benin (Cotonou is far more better than Nigeria. “Fiji of all places” so I should gamble with the money I don’t have to process USA, Canada, Aussie or Schengen visa so that I can wait till I have grey hair here in Nigeria ... u do well! Thank you oh! |

Barbie514: If you're opening a hotel or have a ton of money to invest, Fiji definitely works for you. But for regular people, Fiji just doesn't have the economy. Nigeria is honestly better. A guy selling tomatoes can do better for himself than the average Fijian. Most people there are trying to take advantage of what I believe to be a guaranteed visa to Australia or New Zealand. The rest are working in hotels, or living off the land. Their high gdp is misleading. It appears the tourism dollars (which they rely heavily on) go mostly to foreigners and corrupt politicians. Consider this: FIVE THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT POVERTY IN FIJI An underlying concern is that tourism policy in Fiji encourages development of large, foreign-owned resorts, while indigenous businesses often do not receive the support they require to be successful in the long term. Thus, indigenous Fijian participation in the tourism sector is predominantly as employees or as recipients of lease monies, and rarely as those directly involved in tourism planning and development, therefore limiting the pro-poor potential of the sector in Fiji. https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.1080/09669582.2011.629049?src=recsys&journalCode=rsus20#_i5 1 Like |

Cousin9999: I agree, fiji is more of a place to go and relax and spend money. Hustle might not pay there as much as other countries |

Nothing anyone can say that will make me change my mind in anyway. I AM EXITING NIGERIA FOR GOOD. Nigeria is a rich country yes I know but 80% of its citizens are bleeding !!! Benin is the 3rd poorest country. Nigeria is actually supplying Benin Republic electricity and lemme tell you that there’s always 24 hrs supply of constant electricity in Benin! All the citizens drinks treated water supplied by the government. I have lived in Cotonou and I know what I’m saying! Anyone who has ever had the opportunity to live outside of Nigeria will know that all other countries are better than Nigeria. With just #300 in Benin I will eat veggie spaghetti with plenty soccie, fried egg with a very rich tick tea made with condensed milk. Everything they sell in Benin Republic are imported from France meaning it’s all original... the only thin they produce in Benin is cotton wool. Not all of us dreaming and striving to leave Nigeria are after the money in Abroad! For a person like me I am after quality of like, SECURITY and Most importantly GOOD FOOD (not negotiable). Nigeria is a country full of uncertainties! A rich fellow today can become very poor tomorrow. Selling of tomatoes by the side and get shot by sars officials or get kidnapped for ransom or rituals. Listen! Absolutely nothing is holding me back in this country! No parents!! No spouse. Stop viewing my Fiji travel from the perspective of your own comfort! You never can tell what is warranting my Desperation. Thank you! 8 Likes |

Re: Help A Brother Who Want To Travel To Fiji by Cousin9999: 6:56pm On Nov 21, 2020 |
Xeeex: Arabs are ugly and demonic. They're literally inbred. The hot women in South America are mainly black Brazilians and Guyanese women. I suppose you could go looking for hot black women in Colombia. In Central America, it's mainly black Panamanian and Belizean women that are hot. You can probably find some hot black Costa Ricans and Nicaraguans. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Cousin9999: South Americans are beautiful and well behaved, if they love you then it's better for you. They are grateful not like Nigerian girls. Some Arabs are beautiful and good. Turkish girls and Persians (Iran and Pakistan) are beautiful. Most are beautiful if not all. 1 Like |

Xeeex: African girls > Nonblack South American girls African girls = Black South American girls Arabs are ugly. Inside and out. Turks are ugly too. And really stupid. Iranians and Pakistanis are ugly. I suppose it's mostly because of generations of inbreeding. But they're definitely ugly, hook-nosed, no-lip, hard-faced b*stards. They don't have a body. The women look like the men. Not sexy at all. Only guys that have no options would look at them twice. Besides that, only their men want them, and that's mostly because of family pressure. Quiet as it's kept, a lot of these Arab men would marry a black woman if their family let them, and if they could actually get and keep a black woman. 3 Likes 1 Share |
