The police have confirmed the abduction of the chairman of Nasarawa State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr Philip Shekwor on Saturday night in Lafia.

The commissioner of the state police command, Mr Bola Longe, who confirmed the incident to journalists on Sunday in a telephone interview, said that Mr Shekwor was kidnapped by large number of gunmen at his residence in Lafia around 11 pm on Saturday and was taken to an unknown destination.

The police commissioner, however, said that the command had dispatched its operatives to comb the bushes and rescue the APC chairman.

Private securities should be licensed to carry visible guns with strict rules of engagement and bullet tracing to security outfits, incase of usage for criminal activities. That way people can better protect there communities..

Lalasticlala, you were quick to close down the other thread of mine, understandably so, given someone else had created a thread about a similar story earlier than I did.

Why then was this which I created THREE HOURS before that which made the fp, with a blog as source for that matter, ignored?

Is this an honest mistake or am I being deliberately targeted by the administrators of this site? If the later is the case, I'd appreciate if you told me verbatim.

Wish the kidnappers can cross over to Abuja to pick up their Oga in the Aso Villa.....and help keep him for 600yrs till the economy is recovered from the great depression.
