This isn't my dad!" People in the area will hear what's going on and help you, so make plenty of noise.

4. The answer on the street is always “no”. If a charity offers you candy, remember your mom's advice - don't talk to strangers. It's usually a scam. If you are ever offered a gift while walking down the street, just ignore and keep walking

5. Do stay alert. Keep your mind on your surroundings, who's in front of you, and who's behind you. Don’t wear headphones while walking. Don't fall asleep on the bus or the train. Don’t take shortcuts through dark places at night.
