Let me update you guys with my timeline

IELTS July 2020 - LRWS - 8,7.5,7,8
WES July 2020
Spouse WES - Not necessary as CRS was good enough
Spouse IELTS Oct 2020- LRWS - 5,5.5,7,8.5 ( she had 24hrs to prepare grin grin)
CRS Score Married - 482
Profile Submission October 13
ITA -October 15

Studied in Canada but going under FSW since I have enough CRS points without waiting 1year for Canadian Experience.

Looking to submit my app in the next couple of days/weeks.

Gods speed and grace for everyone.

Pls I'm interested in relocating to Canada. All the terms am hearing are strange to me.

Please what should I do

How do I start.

Thanks. Answered no with immediate effect.

Mmamaroon:

....if your hubby's work experience is NOT in Canada, it is irrelevant CRS points wise....so move all those details to personal history.

....if your hubby's work experience is in Canada, I guess it makes sense to update the single letter you have multiple times...if indeed there are 3 different placeholders for uploading docs....
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by Cheerfulmum: 6:02pm On Nov 23, 2020
Thanks alot. I've answered no.

shadama:

Usually it has been advised that for accompanying spouse you should answer "no" when asked if the spouse has any relevant work history, since it won't count towards points of it's not in Canada. That way they won't ask for ref letter, and you can put his work history under the personal history section.
But yes, it is right to upload the same ref letter in each of the placeholders. It feels weird but you can.

No you must not claim if your score can fetch you an ITA but be sure to mention that you have a sibling

Another question we have no idea about. Like someone advised earlier on, you should ask this on Living in Canada thread as they are better suited to answer any COPR/PPR related topic

I’m sorry if this is a stupid question, I’m new to this but I wanted to know if anyone has gotten ITA through own business experience. Most of the stories I’ve seen on here have included formal job experiences or family work experiences but I’ve only ever worked at the business I own myself. If I start paying myself formally with a payslip starting December will it look okay when I apply or does it not matter?

You are permitted to lose up to 4 questions in listening (36/40) and still make 8.0. Kindly exercise patience till your result comes out but from experience I'm more comfortable with computer-based tests as it's easier to concentrate on the screen. Also I'm more comfortable typing than writing for long. When your result comes out you'll know what next to do
how do u do listening since u can't write on question paper on cbt.. ? It seems hard to do.. wats ur scope

Hello all, I recently received ITA and I have a few questions.

1. Is it okay if the bank letter/ statement is up to 3 weeks old before application submission date or what is a safe acceptable timeline? I do not know how long the bank would take to respond so I want to request now but I intend to submit my application around 12th-18th December. Please advise.

2. In a case where I want to include salary inflows into my account do I need the whole account statement for the duration or I can take a screenshot the exact inflow days?

3. Do all the addresses on all my documents need to be the same (current address, PCC, bank statement/letter, Pension letter). I have not updated my addresses in some of my banks.

3. Is it okay after application to move money from where it was, I do not intend to spend it, I just want to Invest it while I wait for PPR because it has been lying in my dollar account for months with no interest. I ask because I know at entry they may ask for proof of funds, which I would have but probably might not be in the original account or it would show it was removed at some point and put back.

Thanks.

We have almost same story. But AOR: Dec2019

Sincerely, I doubt there are other things to do than to be raising webform, pray or order GCMS notes if you have the money, but for people like me, I don't have money and neither do I want to risk my info being shared with a 3rd party. lol

Let's just hope and pray.

In listening, you’re not even supposed to write in the question paper, whether CBT or paper based. You should write your answers directly as the recording only plays once
