The Federal Government that is being accused is not the one controlling the Judiciary, which is an independent arm of Government just like the Legislature.

They should address a petition to the NJC. However it is clear their interest is not in protecting the sanctity of the law but rather encouraging its violation, seeing that if Ndume had not been remanded they would have kept quiet as they have done all along on the Abaribe issue.
