feelme2020: Everything you said about Onuachu is wrong and this video proves it. U see the skills and creativity https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SNcBmlq3894 They didn't give him passes to his foot. They played long balls when he had no support. He was winning all the balls but nobody was close enough to collect. |

andrewbaba44:who did osimhen fight, who did sanusi fight, who did uzoho fight, who did aribo fight, who did ndidi fight. When you become the best in a position, you simply take the shirt. Watch maduka's performances for Sparta and tell me which Nigerian goalkeeper is better than him currently? He displaced two keepers to become no1 there for a reason. 5 Likes |

JohnBullMySon: No point wasting your energy to drag with these people. Maduka is simply the best 9ja goalie atm, and he'll only get better. The majority of peeps who come here to spew thrash against Maduka are those who hardly watch him play in the Eredivisie. I've been following Maduka's progress since he joined Sparta Rotterdam. He's now their No. 1. 2 Likes |

JohnBullMySon: Maduka okoye is the best in his position ? Be deceiving your self ,if na uzoho or akpeyi chop 4 goals against seria Leone una go insult them tire Uzoho fought with ezenwa who did well during some qualifiers ,forgot so soon ? Osimhen waited for Ighalo to retire before he took that position or you forgot so soon that he was benched at the afcon by Ighalo despite his good form at Belgium ? Maduka doesn’t look like he is better than even akpeyi self and you are telling me he is better then all ,I laugh in Chinese ,I have no problem with him starting but saying he fought for that GK shirt is the biggest lie in 2020 You want ndidi to fight with who if I may ask ? One of the best DM in the epl to fight with average players for his shirt abi ,Maduka has never played first team football before taking the eagles shirt Go tell another person this one and not me 4 Likes 1 Share |

andrewbaba44:Don't mind him. Most Nigerians lack proper education on what global best practice means. These same people almost killed Keshi for handing the number 10 jersey to a local boy but are cool with a goalie with a couple of club appearances being number 1. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Just watched onuachu goals at Genk and I now see why he doesn't score as much for Super eagles. First of all, Onuachu strengths as a striker is Heading, Air balls and in order to capitalize on his strengths, you need "Good crosses" looking at the type of Wingers/Fullbacks that SE uses, he doesn't get accurate crosses thats why he rarely scores for SE. The guy can be a good alternative to osimehn if SE wingers, fullbacks deliver accurate Crosses. A player like finidi George and Onuachu would be scoring week in and Out For SE. Unfortunately, due to bad crosses, he will still remain 3rd choice ST behind Osimehn and kelechi |

BascoVanVeli:if there is one thing to bank on Rohr is Qualification for a Major tournament. My problem with him is can he get us to Win a tournament as in 1st? Can he make tactical changes at the right time or timely substitution? Anyway, those things are not documented on his contract |

Barryseal:it isn't the same. Infact, Akpeyi should slap himself for allowing a 19 year old to grab that shirt in uzoho absence. Remember that Nigerians wanted Akpeyi out of SE before and after ANC due to his unstababiblity. Although, I think akpeyi did OK at ANC and o wouldn't blame him for that Algeria loss but Okoye seem more comfortable than him For SE. For me, when everyone is fit and Available 1) Uzoho 2) Okoye 3) Akpeyi/osigwe/Yakubu Rohr doesn't like short goalies thats why yakubu hasn't been given a chance but he looks impressive on youtube 1 Like |

andrewbaba44:I no dey insult players. Get your facts right. You're calling uzoho, Uzoho's case is even more controversial. Ezenwa was our keeper when ikeme retired, he kept throughout the qualifiers and did well, when uzoho started playing in Europe, Rohr benched Ezenwa straightaway, there was no struggle whatsoever. Ezenwa only played when there was a friendly in the same window with qualifiers. Like against Zimbabwe. Uzoho kept during the world cup on the hardwork of Ezenwa. Osimhen was not yet performing during the world cup and afcon. His 20 goals for Charleroi was in the space of two seasons. Osimhen only picked up in July 2019 after afcon when he signed for lille. He displaced Onuachu who was second to ighalo then. Maduka is our best keeper currently, he does not need to fight for anything, when his club performance drops, a keeper in form will take over. That's how Rohr does. When uzoho lost form big time before afcon, Rohr relegated him to third choice. As for ndidi, we are saying the same thing, same with sanusi. When you are currently the best, you don't fight with anyone for the position. Same way omeruo benched balogun during afcon and now balogun has come back to bench him again. Dem no dey do fight for shirt in national team, matches no plenty for gambling. Your club performance will determine it. Maduka had already played first team football before starting in Algeria game. Me and you know that the Brazil match was a rare accidental chance for him. 2 Likes |

12large1:I doubt if uzoho will find it easy taking back that shirt. That maduka is determined to seal his place there. I wonder why people think Rohr is biased because maduka is German born. He is our best choice now, truth be told. If he were born in Lagos and played for Enyimba before entering the Super eagles, they would all be defending him and pitting him to be the world best keeper. You will be seeing crazy comparisons. Even if iheanacho were to be German, I will still say that osimhen is better than him. 3 Likes |

JohnBullMySon:nah Uzoho is definitely better than Manuka. Remember uzoho has decent World cup performance experience and his last game against Brazil was magnificent. Uzoho before maduka. Maduka isn't vocal enough to lead that defense but Remember his still a baby |

Danielnino00:If they are owing Rohr salary, who is the local coach that they wouldn't own. Or have you forgotten what happened with Oliseh. You people don't know anything happening in the glass house. Rohr is managing to survive without salary because of his previous investment. If you put someone like SiaSia who has been out of job for long in that position and you own them, na Salisu ×10 reloaded we go expect. What we need is for Rohr to be sacked so that we will know how far with local coach. He is underappreciated. |

JohnBullMySon:iwobi strong point isn't Crosses at all and we cannot trade our best AM (iwobi) on the wings. The best crosser so far on our team is Moses Simon but to me he isn't our best winger. So, in order to get the best of Onuachu, you need wingers that Deliver accurate Crosses i.e Simon, but Simon as a winger isn't better than Chukwueze, kalu or Ejuke (to me) Awaziem also delivered decent crosses at ANC but he doesn't start. Honestly, with the talent available at SE, A world class Coach should be able to deliver ANC and possibly wc round 8 but the question is what justifiable reason should we sack Rohr? Remember, he met his precontratual target thus far and what guarantees do we think that NFL will hire a world class coach if rohr is terminated (we no want frying pan to Fire) Remember why Rohr got hired in the 1st place. 2015/17 debacle 1 Like |

12large1:Exactly. But Nigerians tend to suffer from selective amnesia. I could remember 2016,how Nigerians were begging God for just Afcon qualification. Like Afcon became like World cup to us. See trolling from all African countries. Then Rohr came and did it within two years. If the team is qualifying for competitions , then with time, we will win. This is just less than 4 years in his reign but he has qualified us for all competition , you will now be hearing people saying "the talented best team" , "a whole Nigeria", "a whole Super Eagles". Then have forgotten their pre 2017 heart attacks. They compare themselves with Algeria but forget that they have basically the same squad in the last 5 years and has been appearing at Afcon yet they didn't qualify for world cup. Rohr is working with his resources and I know he will come good. But if he is sacked, I still stand behind the team but lemme see anyone who will criticise any local coach about being tactically clueless or corrupt 1 Like 1 Share |

I dont understand this our goalkeeper talk again ehn? Wetin una want sef? The question should be do we have a reliable first choice keeper, before the coming of Uzoho, then Maduka, anybody for either of them to battle the numero uno spot with? |
