Fact is, he was a secunda player, he debuting for the First team, is due to the first team keeper role, being stratched, hence he going out on loan, after a new keeper arrive[/quote]but he still played "2 games" at (La liga) Arguably the Best league in the World (At that time) prior to Selection and his rivals Akpeyi, ezenwa had history of Shaky performance. Go and rewatch Nigeria vs Argentina (4.2) Uzoho debut for us and see that his selection was justifiable. Akpeyi and ezenwa has theirself to blame |

12large1:I know, but go and look at Algeria and Senegal squad too. Tunisia as well. Leave those that have not come yet, those teams are also good too, apart from that 4-4 game and the lack luster Algeria game, we have played well. That we have some decent players does not mean that we have turned to Portugal or France. |

JohnBullMySon:Bro, pound for Pound, Algeria and Tunisia dosen't have a better pool of talented 11 than Us. Most talented 11 pound for pound on paper in Africa 1) Senegal 2) Nigeria 3) Algeria/Ivory coast Best team in Africa right now 1) Algeria 2) Senegal 3) Nigeria A Good coach can make a huge difference from 3rd to 1st place |

Barryseal:You want to talk about global practice? Go and ask Ter Stegen. Why is that when some things happen in Nigeria some people will start looking for validation from oyinbo man land? Leading up to the world cup Neur who had hardly played for 1 year due to injury was restored as Germany number one ahead of Stegen who was one of the best goalkeepers in Europe that season. When Loew tried to drop Neur, Bayern executives threatened the German FA to restore him as number one or they'll withdraw their players from the national team. |

Why are u guys mad maduka is now the number 1 ? He plays in higher league than the other goalkeeper and u guys during a argument you always back up your claim with uefa club ranking and use it to downgrade one player for another |

JohnBullMySon:very correct, besides many pundits have criticized Rohr for not having a permanent GK. Seems he settled for Uzoho post Afcon but that unfortunate injury scattered his plan |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by 12large1: 11:37am On Nov 24, 2020 |
isan:point of correction, he was number 1 in uzoho absence through Injury. An inform and fit Uzoho over Okoye for me but nothing is permanent. They're both young talented goalies that should have a long Se career |

JohnBullMySon:Took Mali to the AFCON..that was an error. He took Togo to the world cup, didn't he? Your Rohr before becoming the super eagles coach didn't even win a teaspoon... |

12large1:it's not all the time that things happen like that. Germany and Spain are better than Belgium and Portugal in both squad and coach. Yet ranking says otherwise. |

Danielnino00:Keshi never took togo to world cup. It was a foreign coach that took them in 06, since then, they never smell world cup again. |

JohnBullMySon:I said nothing about appointing an indigenous coach... Rohr has overstayed his welcome..He should go.. He is selecting players on sentiments, how is he better than the indigenous coaches ?? |

Danielnino00:Amodu yes but keshi? There was no way we could keep keshi, aside from failing to qualify for afcon the mood of the fans then was even worse than now, everybody had lost faith in him. You keep mentioning keshi like he was unjustly fired which wasn't so |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by 12large1: 11:46am On Nov 24, 2020 |
JohnBullMySon:(Arguably) nothing is 100% but a world class coach can differentiate attaining 1st vs 3rd |

jihday:He was unfairly treated.. They should have left him alone after he decided to resign after the AFCON win..They brought him back and frustrated the life out of him.. Maybe if you work under an employee that constantly pushes you to the wall, maybe you won't do better than what Keshi did.. |

Danielnino00:He isn't being pampered, everybody is tired including Dare and Amaju but he can't be fired because of his contract. |

12large1:see my point here, we are using a few matches to judge Rohr and now excusing the many matches he performed well. In fact for the last four matches, I will say that we did badly in only two. That is the sierra Leone home game and the Algeria game. The problem was with the whole team, we felt that afcon qualifiers was a straight win throughout and we paid for that drop in team form. |

| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by 12large1: 11:56am On Nov 24, 2020 |
JohnBullMySon:nah, our problem with Rohr is the "Big games" can he make the right timely substation in games i.e vs Argentina (wc) Algeria (Anc) can he select his best 11 and Formation? Can he defeat the best team in Africa and be 1? Thats where people have doubts. Do you realize that Rohr indirectly concedes defeat or indirectly justify losses before big games when he keep alluding that "We're a young team" or "We're here to learn" before any big game. If rohr has to go, then a Proven WINNER comes come in but i.doubt nff has the money to hire a Proven wimner |

Danielnino00:How was he frustrated? He could and should have walked away after the WC but he didn't, don't forget that we lost at home to Congo you are just being emotional about keshi he was rightly fired. To the best of my knowledge the only local coach that have ever being treated unfairly was Amodu |
