Another set of fake stories.

You still cannot show evidence of people being shot at.

All you show are gunshots which could have been aimed in the air as we have seen over and over again.

Simply putting CNN on it means nothing.

What evidence do you need to know that the murderous exercise by the army at the lekki toll gate has more victims than what's known by the public and media. Don't you think the army and government tried as much to cover it up. It's not always about your interest, the table could turn. There is a level to which your zombiism could attract insult that's deserved, some nairalanders might even think you have a mental problem or plain stupid.
if u call what happened at Lekki massacre, what will u call what happened at oyigbo?I guess total race wipe out?

We haven't seen more convincing evidences about Lekki but we have all seen many dead bodies as regards d oyigbo shooting.

Y are people more concerned about Lekki than oyigbo?

Is it that Lagos life matter than rivers life?

Is it that PDP has d monopoly to kill?

Y is CNN not reporting oyinbo massacre aggressively?

Suddenly all social media activists n all influencers are silent?

Suddenly PDP has gone mute about oyingbo but they still remember Lekki?

Answer those questions n think critically about it so u see what others are seeing.

Many are gaining from the Lagos noise n they are hyping it but are silent about rivers because it can add to their propaganda

I am yet to see what is so explosive about this cut and join CNN report in all honesty.

I watched the panel sitting where the Army general clearly said soldiers were given both blank and live ammo but the firing party only fired blanks. How is that at variance with Lai Mohammed's statement that soldiers only fired blanks?

What is so confusing about the fact that soldiers had 2 types of bullets but used only one kind of bullet?

Seems to me like we are allowing our hate for Lai Muhammed, Buhari and the government to crowd our sense of logical reasoning and we are refusing to see the gaping holes in the CNN report.

You really must be kidding. Have you seen the timeline of the different accounts by the governor and the army, starting from the initial denial that they were not there at all, no life was lost, blank bullets to no bullets - several inconsistent accounts, you did not see those massive gaping holes in the whole thing right? It's really a hard job to be a zombie and have to defend nonsense.

It is not by smart sounding clapbacks. What you just wrote makes no sense. The satellite images captured people, bodies are people, only they are immobile, motionless on the floor, which makes it easier to capture. The reason Boko Haram are hiding in enclaves, mountains and bushes is to escape being picked up by satellites. Lekki protesters where not hiding, they were in the open. Show me bodies or stfu

If satellites can track bodies like that why hasn't BH been contained?

everybody is aware that there was a shooting.

CCN should stop telling us what we already know.

I'm waiting for who is going to release the video of how bodies were evacuated, and how lagos state government washed blood stains and repaired bullet holes over night.

this will tell us if

the soldiers were opening fire to protesters or in the air. (coz both can lead to the recovery of bullets) the only explanation for the recovery of bullet for now is that they were firing it In the air, coz for them to recover a bullet, it means the force propelling the the bullet stopped so it fell, the only thing that can stop a bullet if they were fired at protesters is if the bullet hit something. but as it is now , no bullet holes and no one can tell me that AK47 bullets that can travel 700m were fired heavily and randomly forward to protesters direction as depicted in the video and it won't leave at mark or hole on objects at lekki at least quite number of protesters claimed they took cover from bullet rain. how come no bullet holes on what they took cover from.

showing video with gun shot audio doesn't tell us anything apart from the fact that there was a shooting which we already know.

I know some lowlife will still quote me with insult forgetting that I also have the right to air my opinion.

note: if you think crying or find it difficult to believe the government for lying to cover some things up, I think it should be be difficult for you to believe those who claimed to be eyewitnesses who flooded our social media with fake pictures and videos.

everyone is a liar, hypocrisy is ignoring the lies of a party and crying over the lies of the other party.

You aren't different from them Sir, they have atleast tried to show some videos, kindly show yours to show the shots were aimed into the air, else you stand know moral grounds to dispel their claims without backing it up with your own evidence.

That is flawed logic.

That is like me standing in the market place and calling you a thief. Would it be fair on you if I call you a thief without proof and when you complain, I ask you to show proof that you are not a thief?

Even the legal system recognises that semper necessitas probandi incumbit ei qui agit which means that the burden of proof rest with the accuser.

Will you say in all good conscience that CNN and all of the other accusers of the Nigerian Army and government have shown proof beyond reasonable doubt of their accusation against the army?

We have been hearing of a massacre for over a month now and we are yet to have any of the families of the deceased come forward?

CNN said they had spoken to over 100 people but all they have to show are the same cut and join videos that have been circulating on social media for a while now?

Now the same CNN that did not have a single correspondent at the venue of the protest now has a report that is better than BBC that had reporters covering the protest and stated clearly that the soldiers fired shots into the air.

Our reasoning on this matter defies logic to be sincere.

Stop trying to DEFLECT or twist words. The topic under discussion is Lekki shooting.
is Lagos life more precious than oyigbo life?

If we care about killings in Lagos with no families of dead victims y don't we care about killings in rivers where we have seen more than 5 dead bodies n yesterday we saw a man crying besides his son's corpse?

I guess u people care about Lagos killing because of APC n Tinubu but u don't care about rivers killings because of PDP n Wike?

Who is investigating oyingbo massacre despite seeing enough dead bodies?

Face the topic - this is about the Lekki shooting. What stops you from raising awareness about Oyingbo?? Those that raised awareness of the Lekki shootings, do they have 2 heads than you?

FYI - I don't give a hoot about APC or PDP. People like you that turn every issue to politics are a big problem in this society.

don't mind them, they claim massacre in Lekki n till now we haven't seen a dead body but in oyigbo where we saw more than 10 dead bodies they are silent on it.

It's obvious they just want to rope APC, Tinubu n d army but they want out to look away about rivers because of PDP,Wike n Atiku.

It's politically motivated n I won't b surprised if it's PDP that is paying these crazy news network to keep posting d same video over n over again.

Yes! Granted the Army initially denied they were at the toll gate. This question was put to the General during the sitting and he explained that at that time, the Army authorities did not have full information of what had happened. That as far as I am concerned is a shitty excuse I must say.

But moving on beyond that, the fact that there are inconsistencies in the government and Army's position doesn't vitiate the fact that there are equally gaping holes and inconsistencies on the narratives around the protest.

I know that we are eager to nail the army and the government but all i am saying is, let us do so on the basis of fair and logical evidence and rational thinking.

The CNN report has not shown any proof of the accusations and apart from social media trials and judgements, there is no court anywhere that will convict anyone based on the evidences we have seen so far.
