Another set of fake stories.

You still cannot show evidence of people being shot at.

All you show are gunshots which could have been aimed in the air as we have seen over and over again.

Simply putting CNN on it means nothing.
Why is army and government giving numerous conflicting sides of the story?
"...The American news network stated that there’s been shifting narratives since the shooting. It also shows that Brig.Gen Taiwo’s claim is at variance with information minister, Lai Mohammed's claim that the army fired blank bullets.

"We continue to stand by our reporting" - CNN tells the Nigerian government..."

Thank you CNN for this o. Ordinary Nigerians don't know how important these investigative reports by CNN are in saving their lives from future military or police brutalities. It shows that everything can be accounted for now unlike the impunity these security operatives are used to in the past. This is where America and the rest of Western worlds are a step ahead of China in terms of human rights protection not only in their countries but around the world. What has China done to help the cause of EndSARS campaigners so far given their influence on Nigerian government? You are enjoying the press freedom today which translates to more accountable government because of the imposing figures of USA and its allies.

No video or photos of dead bodies “She also claimed she spoke to their commander before the soldiers threw the bodies into the vans. Curiously, for someone who was streaming live on Instagram during the Lekki Toll Gate incident, there was not a single video or picture of the dead bodies. “Not even Godson (Uyi), another CNN star witness whose video was also used by the network, or any of the hundreds of protesters, all armed with smart phones, at the scene recorded a video or shot a picture of dead bodies being carried away by soldiers. …”Talking of Godson, despite claiming to have analyzed hours of footage, it is curious that CNN conveniently left out key parts of Godson’s 57-minutes, 5-second video (see attached link 2). “For example, 13 minutes, 40 seconds into the video, there were voices, in street lingo, in the background telling Godson that the gunshots were not from the soldiers (na boys dey shoot, that na local gun sound….it’s boys, meaning touts and hoodlums, who are shooting. “That’s local gun). Some 20 minutes, 14 seconds into the video, Godson confirmed that the boys had brought out their guns and were shooting (local okah, he called it). “Some 23 minutes, 14 seconds into the video, Godson said ‘wait, all these boys dey shoot’ (meaning gunshots rang out from the touts/hoodlums). CNN, in its rush to nail soldiers and tell a ‘radically different story’, conveniently left out these parts of the Godson video, which could have shown that armed hoodlums invaded the Lekki Toll Gate that night, and could have hit any of the protesters as they shot sporadically. “This is clearly a ploy by the CNN reporter/presenter to manipulate viewers of its ‘investigative’ report and force them to draw the reporter’s desired conclusion! Another video showing an armed protester at the Lekki Toll Gate (see attached link 3) was apparently not among the footages reviewed by CNN!

They only insult out collective intelligence in Africa.

CNN has more credibility than Nigerian Govt.

I said it sometime ago that this incidence has not gained traction in America because of their election and once election and Biden v Trump was done Lekki Tollgate Massacre will enter mainstream reporting. This CNN guy is not a mere reporter, he is a senior anchor. For this bad act to be on his desk could mean very soon, when they start new congress djswitch will be invited to congress for a hearing into the event. Americans dont do tings in half-measure, they will spend money to invite the Serbian manufacturer to give ballistic evidence and confirm what those casings are, and....listen to this, ...and the gun brand and model that fired to see if it matches Nigerian military issued firearm.

Canadian and British parliaments already are investigating Lekki shooting. US will jump in. Na election season do ojoro.

Beside, all the Nigerians doing big big things in America are there because they are not happy with Nigerian situation. They will tell their senators and reps to condemn Nigerian govt in harsh terms.

We saw action and how Sowore was quickly released when America got involved.

Once America starts to talk expect another street protest, in Nigeria and America, with all eyes looking on Nigeria.

2023 is a joke, expect broad changes before during, and after.

I can see you have sold that your soul to some powers somewhere. Homicidal investigation the world over doesn't have to prove or provide video of the act and CNN has done what is required.

In airing its ‘investigative’ report, CNN conveniently forgot that on Oct. 23rd 2020, it emphatically tweeted, from its verified twitter handle, that the military killed 38 people when it opened fire on peaceful protesters on Tuesday, Oct. 20th 2020.

Almost a month later, the same CNN — after a supposedly exhaustive investigation — is now reporting only one death from what the world was made to believe was a massacre. Is CNN not embarrassed by this sharp climbdown? Has CNN owned up to this and apologized for its faux pas?

#EndSARS: CNN Releases second report on Lekki shootings

CNN has released a second report with videos showing soldiers shooting at unarmed protesters on October 20, 2020 at Lekki Tollgate. The CNN new report also shows protesters running as soldiers open fire at the tollgate.

The fresh report also shows Brig.Gen Ahmed Taiwo admitting before the judicial panel in Lagos that his men took live ammunition to the tollgate. It also shows that Brig.Gen Taiwo’s claim is at variance with information minister, Lai Mohammed's claim that the army fired blank bullets.

If nobody was killed with live rounds why can't the government just provide details of what happened?

Let's do this.

Army said they fired blanks but went with live ammunition in case they were attacked.

Army got to protest ground, and according to them were pelted with stones by hoodlums, which means they were attacked.

Verified photos and videos of live bullets from military ammunition could be seen at the scene.

Conclusion: The military fired live ammunition on unharmed protesters. Their claim of being attacked should be taken with skepticism as protests at that venue had always been devoid of violence. The military account should be discarded as they have a track record of falsifying facts, as was evidenced that night when they watermarked numerous news report of the incident as fake news.

Finally: Death to zombies!

It's strange how various people seem to have sustained gun shot injuries from high calibre weapons but no dead bodies (blanks perhaps).

It's strange how DJ Switch was able to take "dead bodies" to soldiers who were shooting.

It's strange how she's not been able to present her attire from the said night with blood stains.

Just because a mob is saying something doesn't mean it is true.

Incongruent lies! This is the unique hallmark of liars. They lie so much that they never know when they have to tell more lies to cover a lie.So Lai Mohammed should better start rebooting the next brand of lies he will tell because CNN is going to fry his sorry ass with this issue that will never go away.

The fact that the army acknowledged they were @ Lekki with live rounds even with their shameless attempts to deny the shooting that were well captured & aftermath of stopping ambulance services & other incongruent lies to hide their atrocities makes them culpable.

Lai Mohammed and his band of shameless zombies think CNN is a media body they can threaten with DSS or fine in order to shut out the truth.CNN will continue to expose their wickedness.
FG is just looking for a soft landing in the crime they committed.
