Note 8 is now running on A10 and MIUI 12 though. The update is QCOMIXM 12.0.2 and everyone including those on the previously-stalled 11.0.11. You can download and install.

Could you help out.

I recently bought a note 9 pro and I noticed that whenever I received a call, the screen won't light up. I will need to unlock it with my fingerprint to see who is calling.

Manually. Downloaded the file from Xiaomi Firmware Updater on Twitter and chose update package from updater app.

I just removed it. Same thing..when the phone is locked, the screen won't flash or light up when a call comes in except it is engaged by unlocking it. It doesn't do so when the screen is active though

I also noticed if it is a WhatsApp call, the screen will come up when locked unlike normal calls

Update your phone app or download full ROM and Re-install
