Good morning everyone , I had to open a new account just to hide my identity and i really need your help here as a family.

I'm someone who loves my family very well I got married a month ago and my marriage is a month old prior to this time I was out of job since March when the pandemic started.

The little money we had was used for the wedding because my wife was pregnant and she is not from my tribe and her parents are of the opinion we do the traditional marriage asap to avoid embarrassment .
We had no option than, to put in our 150k into the traditional marriage and we were able to manage it.

Now since we have done the traditional rite things has not been okay for us, in regards to work I have sent out my CV to a lot of places but non came out positive I also have my own credit agency where I lend people money but I liquidated all due to my mom fire accident last year December . my wife majored in linguistics and African language she has applied to a lot of schools now but It not fort coming we are currently at a cross road and we have nothing to depend on to keep body and soul together , no money to feed , we are asked to go for a scan but we don't have the money to do the scan at the hospital and no transportation fare to even go out searching for other opportunities pls I really need all the help I can get here.

Pls note I'm not a jobless man I am an hard working guy, I know some folks here might say why didn't I save before getting married ? I have saved up to 3million until my mom had a fire accident and I spent all last year December to save her at gbagada hospital in Lagos pls what ever you can help me with I will appreciate .

Can both of you try to get regular teaching jobs? Even if it means you will get 40k each as salary try it out

as I have stated earlier we have both applied to all jobs bit teaching and non teaching but right now it not fort coming meanwhile we have exhausted the cash on us for transportation and we have nothing at hand .

Just walk up to your in-laws and let them know the situation you guys are

Alternatively, you can send your wife to her parents few weeks to delivery

Honestly, no one will listen to the regular statement of my wife is pregnant and about to deliver

Once you can pregnant a woman be ready to take care if it if not you would have used a condom to save this situation

op I think you are too heartless if you look at what that man said he has it all planned out who know how situation may turn out and it cripples his economy.
In the statement he said he is well to do before the incident of fire accident of his mother brought down his finances I expect you to help him even if it is little not criticize him he has tried as a man, even looking for other opportunities to take care of his family u are here bashing him that he should have used condom pray that what he went through u don't go through it .
