Dear Mums,
Is it normal for a 2 year , 3 month child to always run on sighting the person looking after him. If I am moving with him and he sights the girl, he will be hiding in my body till we are passed where she is.
Anytime she is passing, he will take off and run to me even if she doesn't plan to come and carry him. I haven't encountered this with my other house girls, but don't know if as a child grows, he starts this kind of behavior or if there is a kind of abuse going on.

He hasn't started school yet due to covid but will start on Monday as school reopens.
Hmmmm, I think something is not right, just be very vigilant and also talk to ur child

Greenish poo is a sign of starvation among other things. You try expressing the breast milk and feed her.

My DD of 2 months always keeps her hand in a fist. She rarely opens it wide and let it be open. Our neighbour is suggesting that my DD has might have 'nta' (in igbo). She said that 'nta' will not allow my DD to put on adequate weight. I kinda agree with the weight issue cos her birth weight was 4.3kg and her weight at 6 weeks was 5.3kg. Aside the weight issue + groaning when pooping or farting, my DD does not have any other significant issue I know.
Please sabi mamas, is there such a thing? If there is, what is the remedy? Please help me.

The weight is very normal to me, although there is no harm in checking if she really has nta or not, I did checked and took my DD for treatment, right now you won't recognize her anymore cos she has put on lot of weight, in all follow your heart and do what's best for your child.

Thank you so much. What were the signs you DD showed? At what age? What was the mode of treatment? What's the duration of the treatment?
Please pardon my questions.

Thank you ma'am.
She likes pap and myboy milk, that's what she's currently feeding on.
I'll try expressing the breast milk, though painful but I'll just try.

You can give your baby potatoes and swallows. But there are more Nigerian meals for your 6-month-old baby in the article highlighted.

My former teamie, reduce the washing of hair to once in a week or two weeks if you're still washing every day. Start from there. You can use baby oil on baby's hair to lubricate it more since it's dry. I use pears baby oil when I want to plait my Baby's hair once or twice a week. I don't wash daily again too. Our babies have passed that stage.

Tombrown , pap (ogi), semo, amala, okro, vegetable soup (the water from the cooked soup with swallow), moi moi, mashed indomie... Any food you can mash or that is soft to eat without teeth. cheesy

Let her be, especially if you keep trying and she keeps refusing. Some babies wean themselves off breastmilk earlier than expected. It's not abnormal. Make up for it by feeding her every hour or two. Start soft solids for her too since she's six months.

By washing do you mean water shouldn't touch her hair at all when she bathes?
Cause I just wet with water daily and wash with soap once or twice a week
I use baby oil or ori presently but it still gets dry in no time.
And again her edges are not growing well, she's also losing some of her hair too. Don't know if there's something I can use to help her hair grow well.
Thanks former teamie kiss

You're welcome. Yes no need to wet with water everyday anymore. Of course, water may mistakenly touch it.
Ideally, her hair should be plaited. Weaving , Calabar , puffs with soft ribbons (not rubber bands). This will prevent hair loss and aid hair growth too.

About hair products, other mamas will help wink
