Edopesin:yes, that was never in doubt. But Senegal has more than us. You see how "Coaching" can make a difference from 3rd to 1st? Haha! It's kind of sad because rohr has actually met his contractual agreement and there's no guarantee that we can afford a world class coach |

chrisooblog:Definitely untrue for Morocco and Algeria. Yes for Senegal. But algeria has the best thing. The exact reason why you can underestimate good coaching |

Your mind is made up, no matter my argument you won't agree with me. Is Mane a centre-forward for Senegal and Liverpool? You don't even know the Senegalese team yet you base your argument on just 3 players. If Mane is injured who will step in. A team strength is based on depth, not just the first 11. Stop being ignorant! Ndidi better than any DM Algeria parade, Oshimen and Nacho better than any striker Algeria parades. So? We have two left-back playing regularly in Europe Elite league, three right-backs, the best DM in Africa, two CM, three defenders numerous wing forwards, and centre forwards all playing in Europe's Elite leagues. With many yet to get invite. This is the first time in Nigeria's history, we have numerous players playing regularly in Europe's Elite leagues. From Napoli to Porto to Hoffenheim, to Villareal, to Everton, to Leicester City, to Rangers, to Fulham, to Twente, Rotterdam, Brugge, Bordeaux, Lorient, Koln, Anderlecht, Union Berlin, WestBrom, Galatasary, Nantes, Udinese, etc. chrisooblog: |

BascoVanVeli:your point makes absolutely no sense and it shouldn't be debated. How do you debate the fact that prior to 2018, we missed back to back Anc and we defeated 3 previous African Champions Cameroun, Algeria and Zambia to qualify for World cup 2018. No one can take that one away from Rohr. |

Olulong:Probably! Damn! If I were him, I wouldn't think twice about it. CAF needs to do something about this, if you can't provide a quality stadium for your matches, then a better one away from your home should be assigned for games. When they are forced to play on neutral ground for a longer period of time, they'd be wise. ![]() |

12large1:I wouldn't pick Bennecer over Ndidi definitely. Bennecer plays as a CM at least in the National Set up. Guiediora plays as the DM. So player for player it's Ndidi vs Guiediora and Bennecer vs Etebo/Aribo |

it seems you didn't read my submission closely. i said Mane is better than all the forwards we have period! genuflecting on whether he's a center forward or not is mute. Senegal has more players in depth like Salif Sane, idrissa gueye, Keita Balde to mention a few. stop being arrogant! Osimhen yes he's good but don't tell me you are completely ignoring Bounedjah? Andy Delort another player has outscored KC over the past two seasons so how is Nacho better? yes we have a healthy pool of players but saying this crop is the best we have had in terms spread across european leagues is a half truth at best. Most of our players are playing for mid level teams in various european leagues. can you compare them to the 90s squad when Finidi and Kanu played for Ajax, Betis, Inter and Arsenal? or Oliseh that played for Ajax, Dortmund and Juventus? Taribo for Inter? Ikpeba for Monaco? Okocha for PSG? Amuneke for sporting lisbon and Barca? Our squad has potential to beat anyone on the continent but implying we have a killer squad at the moment is a bit far fetched. fabyom: |

Danielnino00:I think so too. And to think a lot of their players are already at/going past their peak. 2022 might just be it or they might become a wasted Golden generation |

Neobulletzz:This is tricky. I admire Sarr. He is the kind of player I like...tall,pacy and tricky. I don't get to watch him that much but from the few matches , i will take Samuel. |
