What else do we know in this part of the world apart from the next election?

The dullard in Aso Rock is just kicking off his second tenure and someone is already talking about 2023.

NNEWIsuper:

You're 100% right.. PDP shouldn't field Atiku at all, they should field a south Easterner instead
like Obi..I think an Obi ticket will fly under PDP ..To all our Igbo people, Pls unite for this opportunity oo!Any eligible and credible candidate that emerge as the pres.candidate under the two mega parties must be supported by all Igbos across the nation and world wide .its unfortunate that the youth cannot unite to form a mega parties so that we don't have to deal with these two parties that have been a headache to us.Anyway APC &Pdp should present two good Igbo candidate .We do not need clowns like okorocha and a thief like Orji uzo kalu. The likes of soludo and other intelligent Igbo sons should start positioning theme selves . Peace .

He is right, PDP will destroy itself if they should field Atiku in the coming election. APC is going to present an Igbo man as its presidential candidate so if PDP fails to present an Igbo man too based on popular demand, it will destroy itself.

Atiku has a lot baggage bt it also depends on who Apc is fielding and what better options and alternative candidates Pdp can get. If it’s all those old clowns in their party then I don’t know what to say. Atiku is better than any of them.

If PDP fields Atiku, most of the North will likely vote for him as most Northerners want power to remain in the North

Truth be told... PDP has nothing left to offer Nigeria. They had 16 good years with a booming oil industry to transform Nigeria, and failed woefully! Redemption is completely removed from the table. PDP is finished for good!!!...

If and when Nigerians are ready for true change and revolution, the more useless APC will follow suit.

Rubbish! Atiku is the only hope you have for Pdp to get back to the power since he is a northerner. Keep deceiving yourselves that the north will give power to Yoruba or igbo. Did the North not come together to work against Jonathan for Buhari, even people in Pdp like the chairman worked against Jonathan for Buhari to win.
If Pdp wants to get back to the presidency, Atiku is their only choice for now.
Deji is just desperate. Atiku is not giving him any more for some time now.

I doubt. Northerners are easily brained washed; very gullible. All you need to deceive them is push forward someone they perceive has integrity and they'll accept whatever it is the person has to say. They have this 'herd' mentality. Once one person follows, the others will. They're not enlightened much about politics but they have the highest political participation/interest in Nigeria. They just need one twisted alhaji or one prominent manipulator to do the talking and they'll even vote for Ibo...any tribe can win the north over. Just win the opinion leaders first.

What I meant is the majority of the north (not all) depend on opinion leaders to tell them who's worth voting for and who isn't, knowing that a large number of their population is uneducated.

And you think Peter Obi can't be the flag bearer
AkalaJustice:
Ah! This Deji no fear for himself. Igbos/igbos won't like this. Dem go soon cancel and mark Deji for dis statement. Atiku Abubakar has already been anointed by the owners of PDP as the party's 2023 flagbearer, with Peter Obi as his VP.

A very good candidate from both; Igbo APC vs Igbo PDP?
Party sentiments apart, it will be a victory for the APC candidate due to so many reasons.
Am not talking of state election, this is federal. PDP man from SE won't stand a chance.

Southerners lost the day some of them conspired against Jonathan in 2014. 2023 election will be a Northern affair. We will have an Igbo vice president in 2023.

Perhaps Atiku would try to adopt 1 term as his selling point.

The question is if Nigerians will accept it.

I'm sure if he chooses another flatheadedd dummy as vice they will still vote for him as president cos they've always been subordinates to their masters up north and would always be. Eeyah, see the passionate hug grin

Atiku's chief marketer,we see you o!
This your candidate go tee to sell o even outside Nigeria, including Obodo America, where de wait to even enter the place.
This your candidate don't amass wealth so tee- from custom works to apapa-wharf -jetty to mikano to Abubakar-University and recently to Dubai and by use of Dollars($) to win a PDP Convention in Port Harcourt, there by strangulating our Naira, preferring foreign currency to our own Currency! That is super corruption!

you be mumu, as far as democracy is concern, the south had rule for good 14years and the north will complete 10years in 2023, so what are you blabbing about

the power return to south in 2023, I don't care which of the south but north cannot hold anyone on ransome, they ruled most during the military era

SE won't even give the same votes a local government in kano can give, and even SW being an APC stronghold will provide more votes for Atiku, it's simple maths....Atiku just needs to pick a credible candidate from the south as running mate and play his cards right in the south west and he'd get the support, the north already will give him the votes he needs so Deji is just blabbing mess for political correctness.

What PDP should do is to present Peter Obi as its presidential candidate since APC is fielding Dave Umahi.

Obi/Tambawal vs Umahi/Zulum
Wike/Tambuwal vu Umahi/Zulum. Mark it down.
