During the parliament's Armed Forces' Affairs Committee hearing, the MoD detailed some interesting figures concerning the work of the TAF during 2020, its budget, spending and some of its future plans.
The budget of the MoD for 2021 is set at 3440 Billion dinars (roughly 1.25 Billion dollars), a 6.4% increase compared to 2019, the budget is projected to reach 3509 Billion dinars by 2022 and 3605 Billion dinars by 2023.
Regarding the new acquisitions:
The MoD spent 72 million dollars to purchase new armed UAVs, an additional 40 million euros went to acquire 4 new radars, one long range, two medium range and a tactical short range radar.
140 million dollars were allocated to buy 8 new advanced training aircraft
117 million dinars will be spent on modernizing and ameliorating combat uniforms
83 trucks, 148 "fighting vehicles", tactical radio networks, assault rifles and personal equipment will be purchased
2 Patrol boats will be locally manufactured in partnership with a private naval construction company.
The MoD also received a Turkish aid of 17 million dollars to purchase Turkish military equipment, China suggested as well 21 million dinars to buy Chinese made equipment.

sudan and egypt have each year flood from nile river , dont think the destruction of the renaissance dam will make a difference ,maybe massive flood near the dam ok , studies says (and there is a lot of studies about renaissance dam failure , specially from egyptian universities ) there will be massiv flood until Sennar Dam in sudan , but for region far it will be normal flood and they will have time to be prepared like their annual flood , more than 20 days to sense it in north egypt . so i dont think it will be a big problem for egyptians if they have the will to destroyed it

an exemple of study about the subject: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/326381376_Prediction_of_Flood_Hydrograph_due_to_Grand_Ethiopian_Renaissance_Dam_Break3

"The mode of the Main Dam break was considered as overtopping failure..."

All 15 scenarios cited in that paper stem from the above quote. That's quite a different thing from blowing up a dam. RUSI, the Royal United Services Institute in the UK, recently held a joint webinar with the Brookings Institute where the consensus amongst the experts was that the military option is gone, at the dam's current levels. A colleague subscribes so I'll see if he can share the link.

Egypt must realise the old days when it could bully the other Nile states are gone. And with Trump gone, they have no option but to negotiate in good faith.

As for flooding downstream, look at this year's flooding in Khartoum and Omdurman, where excessive rainfall caused a rise of more than 17 metres in the Blue Nile.

Actually there are numerous car manufacturers both indigenous and foreign that flourish just fine in Nigeria and with more on the way as evident above. Your remark is woefully ignorant and leaves you coming off as one of those types of failures that believes your pitiful state is all the result of someone else's fault but your own. Your not bringing constructive criticism to the topic backed by conclusive evidence or any other type of alternative perspective your just whining like child. Grow up

This is the first Nigerian made armoured convoy photographed. We still have some way to go, but we are making serious progress.

We currently have a minimum 100 units of Nigerian made armoured vehicles in service with the Nigerian army. If we can grow that number to 1,200 units that'll be impressive.

I can't wait to see what Innoson DICON partnership would produce, I hope the partnership would improve Ezugwu vehicles much further.

This security booth made by EPAIL is so modern, it's impressive. They are into protective equipment, I just hope they can diversify to other areas too!

I wish you could meet me in person to open that anus you call mouth to say all this. You must be extremely stupid for this statement of yours. I made a simple remarks over the government favoring oil driven cars over electric cars and here you are replying like a frustrated illiterate who is fed up with life and on the verge of commiting suicide.

Your mother obviously forgot to teach you manners. She seriously failed as a mother.

Amazing, absolutely amazing
Epail & DICON private and public sector collaboration

You know what this BRG 120 got me thinking of
We've always clamored on here for proper border security.
Absent which Nigeria will never get out of this vicious cycle it finds itself in,
why, because small arms and light weapons keep pouring in. Its not quantum physics.
Border security by a physical double-walled wire-mesh as previously suggested might sound drastic,
maybe expensive, but some people believe a kind of physical border is necessary, an absolute necessity.

What if this BRG 120 could fill the void. Till Nigeria comes to its senses about Border security
Imagine the BRG 120, maybe BRG 240, twice, maybe 4X the size, BRG 480
capable of holding 4 military personnel,
with a massive reservoir below ground, containing water, fuel, food, and ammo to last 3-5 months
of course rationed in a pre-determined manner.
A small non flush chemical toilet(no smell) and a small shower room included-below ground
solar panels on the top of the BRG 480 to power communication and a dedicated tethered drone
a dedicated tethered drone might draw considerable power(24/7), so maybe a long telescopic mast as already used with the BRG 120
for a long-range thermal camera system that can detect movement of persons and vehicles within a 1.5-2 km radius
Personnel 1 operates the surveillance system, looking out for intruders, and also handles the communication systems, periodic check in with DHQ
Personnel 2 handles the gun system; consisting of a machine gun and a sniper rifle.
Personnel 3 is the commander for the shift
Personnel 4 gets a good 6-8 hour sleep
the shift rotates once Personnel 4 wakes up.
an all terrain low riding vehicle comes with the package.
BRG 480 is replenished and evacuated by a dedicated supply truck.
grin

I am jealous of Navies in calmer seas; they can buy all these smaller vessels.
Because of our rough seas here in South Africa, we can't classify anything less than 80m as an OPV.
