Thanks, i called WAEC office and they said they don't do change of date of birth again. So confused right now

just swear an affidavit mentioning the wrong one and the correct one it will cover it

1 year work experience might be too short for companies to consider, why not get about 2+ years first. Job hunting isn't easy but search through Linkedin , Indeed, google search.

It varies, there is not a fixed time for that for some people lawyer visited after 2 weeks, some after a month, some after two months. Just pray and be hopeful

Just one day...these people will issue my visa, and I will reunite with my wife. Protocols must be broken for my sake. I can’t wait in the lord in vein.

Me I have forgotten their matter. I would be just flying in when ever am chance. At least 4 months after stay in Germany or 6 months.

Imagine. Application since May 2019. We are yet to get a date. The last date was cancelled due to covid in march 2020. I have wrote to them several times for a new date. No response.


I did then a family visit for my spouse for 90 days, even after fulfilling all the requirements. I even paid 1900 Euro as security deposit incase her visa expired and she's still in Germany, they should deport her with the money. But still her visa was rejected. That there are not sure of her returning home. Don't forget I paid the security deposit for deportation.

So it's really crazy honestly the way those guys are doing.

Wow if you applied in May, how come they have not given you a date. You should reach out to them there is probably a problem. I registered in June, got a date but it was cancelled due to covid, was given another date, ive done that with verification and all. So I think there is a problem somewhere.

You are right, mine was booked June 2019, I have gone for interview and verification completed. I have crossed my fingers since then while waiting for them. He should keep asking them for a new date

Lawyer showed up in August, Verification completed email 2nd week in November. Still waiting since then.

The issuance of your visa is largely determined by the Foreigners office (Immigration) of the city in Germany where your spouse lives. The embassy only issues visa when the immigration office directs them to do so. Therefore, the most important thing is to find out if the Immigration has asked your spouse here to submit documents, and also if they have finished processing that here. I will recommend all who is waiting to ask their spouse here to do a follow-up from this side.
From observations here, there has been a slow response in getting appointment for 'Residence Permit Extension'. I know persons who applied since and their permit has already expired and yet no date for another appointment. Have in mid that since covid19 started, they now ask you to post your documents and only invite you for bio-metrics in rare cases. These same office handling internal visa extension for foreigners here are also responsible for approving 'long term visas'. The waiting period is also long if your coming to the state of NRW which has high population. you can only imagine how many persons requiring attention from this office daily. Turkish, Syrians, Chinese, Ghanaians, Kenyans, Ethiopians, etc all visits this office regularly. Cities like Essen, Bonn, Dusseldorf, etc have high populations and this affects the process.

Berlin is better because they have 3 offices and can handle crowd effectively. As we wait, we pray no to wait longer than necessary, Covid19 really has greatly impacted on this visa issuance.
