Barcelona and Madrid dominated football for over a decade and just because they have dipped does not mean they're worse than every other team out there. I understand that Barca is nowhere as good as they used to be. That's why it's weird that a supposed washed up Barca team can beat the Italian champions Juve away and also top a UCL group. It simply tells you that even though they have become worse that they used to be, they're still better than most teams. Only few teams in Europe can beat Barca.

What is happening in La Liga currently is like what has been happening in the premiership for some years. All the teams no longer have much seperating them in terms of quality unlike when Barca and Madrid used to dominate any team they come across.
