Words That I Penned.....

These are words that I Penned,
The man in the mirror instructing me till the very end,
Reminding me of the dirt on my hands, I gotta amend-
My ways, I'm far from a saint, can't continue to pretend,
I try to do right but it seems as though I tend-
To only do the opposite, my ways are crooked, Everytime, I bend,
My soul needs purging, pressing issue, something I can't pend(most likely wrong grammar),
Nobody can do this for me, gotta strive and fend-
For myself cos I'm broken, there's so much I need to mend...

Awakening.....

Now, I'm awakened,
Realized I'm stuck in the matrix,
I'm friggin' deep in it,
Don't wanna further deepen it,
I'm leavin' it,
Wanna stop livin' it,
Untangle myself from these primitive-
Stone age ways and open myself up to limitless-
Possibilities,
Gotta get to the roots,
That's how far I need to go in pursuit-
Of freedom from the loop I'm stuck in...
It'll get worse if I do nothin'.....
Time to push the button.....
