Religion you said, seems you don't understand Nigeria politicians and their gimmicks. Group like this are usually set up as a political tool to whittle down the influence of perceived political enemies, they are giving a religious coloration since that's the language best understood by their people. You think Ganduje and all this elites have any religion in them, religion should make people godlike if truly embraced. What they are doing is more like a teaching practice, by 2023 they will be brutal in carrying out any order that will prevent any group with cult following like kwakashiyya or others like it who will intend to oppose or create difficulty for Ganduje's anointed candidate from having an easy ride. They are doing it gradually so that when the time comes it will look like a pattern that's already in existence. Those occupying the lower wrong of the ladder are hardly privy to this kind of game plan, that's how the elite role.

There are kids feeding from dumpsites, bandits and kidnappers having a filled day, poor people abandoned to die from sickness due to lack of funds, millions of out of school children facing a bleak future, yet religion is the priority. Thats not a problem of religion but stupidity. The greeks and romans were more religious but still they gave us science because they think with brains.

Nairaland has been an information medium to we young people and Nigerians as a whole since the media became interconnected today through technology

As much as possible, it is necessary for us to make Nairaland a medium we use to update ourselves of reality in our country and proferring solutions to our future.

Everyone will come to terms with me that extremely violent crimes has been on the increase in our society
Criminal and vile acts once thought to be impossible are today being committed by our people
The onus of it all is that most of these crimes are been committed by we young people who will surely become the future of our society

Thus what hope do our future hold as Nigerians

The situation in our country has killed the sense of patriotism many people once had for Nigeria.
The diffent people and parts who make up Nigeria has always been at distrust.
Our politics has looted us instead of developing us.
Our once promising economy has become poorer by the day while our infrastructures rottens off
Our Education system which is supposed to be the motor vehicle to convey our culture, norms and values has tremendously lost standard

Ancient philosopher once stated that if you are not moving forward, it will be gracious that you remain at the point where you are (Cudson 1812). But there exists not staticity in nature such that you not moving forward indicates you are moving backward

But instead for Nigeria to maintain its stagnant position, it has retrogressed in all social privileges and benefits enjoyed by her citizen.

The Federal government today is barely trying, ensuring that monthly allocation to states are sustained
The States on their own add both monthly allocation and IGR together for so called community development projects

But the major question remains that are we the people seeing and benefiting from our state governments so called development projects??

If we don't seek solution now then we postpone our freedom

VOTE FOR A NEW NIGERIA

There's nothing like a 'New Nigeria' ma guy. The whites that predicted a breakup of the country in 2014 had their reasons.

No matter what kind of 'New Nigeria' you're looking for, we are at serious, extremely deep variances in thinking, customs, value systems and ideas of what government is. There's nothing that makes Nigeria one, absolutely nothing. A president gets onto that seat, next thing is to use his number of years to focus solely on his own people, and of course himself.

The moment you keep clamouring for 'One Nigeria', you keep encouraging the impunity of the flawed system that's going on. Nigeria was purposely created to be large enough so the slave masters would have an extensive hold of land and water and mineral resources.

They shouldnt be telling you this at this stage. With your own eyes, you see another section running another constitution and law of the land, and you still say 'One Nigeria'? I don't like when supposed enlightened people talk in such myopic fashion (and sometimes idiotic fashion, sorry to say).
