Sharia law should just be stricken from the constitution and all sharia courts dismantled. It is backwards and against the constitution for someone to be jailed, punished and killed for their religious beliefs and Muslims should stop receiving special treatment to disregard human rights on top of their own belief system.

If my religion tells me to kill an entire ethnic group for a diety or burn atheists alive then maybe my religion is the problem.

All these issues need to rushed to the supreme court asap. These laws should be thrown out for being blantly unconstitutional. The government at all should embrace secularism in general. Stop building churches, mosques, subsidizing religious trips etcetera.



Assuming they lose Kano state will likely not appeal or they'd risk the whole law being declared unconstitutional. It would be better if they lose and the matter is settled outright. Let's hope Gandolla is really imprudent.
