It won't affect you in camp. Nysc has no business with your BVN personal details.

When you get to bank registration stage in camp. The bank; which ever chosen for you, will give you a form to fill. Fill it with your BVN n your real date of birth.

Nysc at the end of yur service will only just give you a cert. with a wrong date of birth, which you can still use together with an affidavit of change of date of birth during job applications.

a large portion of corpers have this problem. And still, they move. Just stay cool.

my name in my school certificate is slightly different from my Jamb admission letter, I can't explain, its in my last thread

The Date of Birth on your BVN is not an issue, because you won't input your BVN on NYSC portal when you want to register, Banker will just come to open account for you and submit only your account number and name to the NYSC official, That's all. NYSC has nothing to verify with your Bank BVN

No at all...it's not gonna affect you in any way in the camp trust me, I had the same issues. But you need to visit the bank to update it after the camping.

use your BVN date of birth when filling any form related to bank (if not u might have problem with receiving allawee), and use the date of birth on ur dash board on other forms..

NYSC don't need to verify your date of birth from the bank before they start paying you, therefore you don't have problems.

it's easy for u to correct the bvn date of birth, so do the needful before it become qn issue

not up to that, if you sworn affidavit and newspaper publication, it's takes 3 to 5 working days to be corrected. Meanwhile it can take you almost forever to correct errors on your certificates.

get an affidavit before going to camp just incase bt honestly those nysc people wont really notice it ..Nigeria and tech is like 1 and 100

use the one on ur jamb to register for anything nysc, then use the one on ur bvn to open bank account. you won't have issues

My kid brother was shortlisted with the current set resuming calm now but couldn't go with them because he changed course. Jamb promised to change his admission letter but they failed him. He was advised not to print the call-up letter which he really didn't print.
Will he be allowed to go to camp with the next set?
What should he do to join the next set?
