Jehus Farms Limited Has Scammed My Uncle.. Pls Help by remioshy(f): 4:22pm On Nov 22, 2020
Hello Everyone
please is anyone here has or knows who has invested in Jehus Farm Estate. My Uncle invested his pension in their Plantain farm Estate 2 years ago and to be paid returns every 6 months after 1 year . He was paid once last year and he is supposed to be paid again 4 months ago but since then it has been one excuse or the other. First it was COVID 19, then EndSars protest was used as excuse too, he was promised 15th of November and since then he has been calling everyday more than 10 times no one picks and the MD, one Mr Richards refused to answer his calls too. My Uncle is desperate, he depends on this money for sustenance . and he doesn’t know what to do especially now that they refused to answer calls .

I am sure it can’t be only him, other investors too must be having same issues. This was an investment that they promised is backed by insurance.
Please if anyone knows Jehus Farms Limited please tell them to pay this Old man . He invested his money so he can have money to use and not starve.

Thanks

There is nothing anyone can do here to help you but abuse your uncle. This is the truth. But you may get good words. Please, do not let this raise your hope.

Sister, let me share the honest truth with you. The kind of profit in Agric in Nigeria is extremely high that if the first season is successful, no need to ever borrow again. So, you can run a farm by starting just 10 to 20% of your full capacity. If you get this 10% right, you can expand easily. No need to borrow again. In such case, farmers borrow short or medium term and pay off fast. Most farmers do not do long term. If small profit can make you expand easily, why do you need long term? It is when one is doing a project in millions of dollars this can happen. And I can tell you that 99% of these companies are not capable of running big farms. They always run into troubles. They collect huge amount of money and use the same capital to pay 1st to 3rd dividends. Why? To buy time to run away. Or some of them might be hopeful things will get better. They still call for more and more investments while the debts are huge. They use the new investment to pay old investors dividends again to buy more time. When it is clear they cannot manage it, they gather fund and run out of the country. Many started with good intention but are overwhelmed with farming challenges.

I have told you the truth. Goodluck!

Remioshy,
You can see how this person came in, registered a new account today. To do what? To buy more time. Sister, make more noise on the internet. Move to twitter, instagram, and facebook. Enter their social media groups and make some noise. As long as you have a contract with them, your uncle is right. Please tell the man to go for recovery of all his investment..Not just dividend ooo. Tell him to move fast to cash out all his money fast. He must insist. Let them pay him now. Get social media influencers to trend the scam online. I am.sure they will not want to it blow up now and they will quickly settle your uncle. Act fast cos the signal is there that your uncle can collect his money if he makes serious trouble. Instead of the useless customercare to tell you he will contact you. Is he not the one to contact you privately fast? He is a joke telling you to email him. Very useless customer person. Move fast. Go to every platform you know to make the noise. Trust me, they are about collecting investments from another set of people so they dont want it blow up. Move fast and let the old man cash out 100% now

If I am wrong, I want experienced people to tell me so. The problems in Agric in other regions apart from the north are huge so that the hindrances are always so much to make consistent profits. I have not seen any successful govt Agricultural program in other regions apart from the north. To get land is war. Educated farmers cannot stay in the farm cos they must have access to internet to move on. How on earth will one lock himself in a secluded environment where you must provide everything to be live (light, water, road, etc)? So, I fear so much when I hear a company doing farm investments even going as far as opening mobile apps for it to collect money. And they still deceive you there are high profits in Poultry. There can be, but with sense. Only a wise farmer can with sense. If the cost of feed is 75% min of the total cost of production, how can you break through easily? The cost of transport is what many ignore too which us so high these days and many dont have truck or van of theirs. The only way most survive is during xmas when selling prices move up. How can you use seasonal production to collect investments continuously from people when sellers smuggle in cheaper poultry products? Most leaders in agro investment companies are business men who employ managers. The only thing in the head of the managers is to steal and run away. I dont know how the leaders can cope.

There is money in Agric but learn a part of it and do it yourself. You will still fail, but you can survive it. Goodluck to all hunting for assured agro investments.

Your uncle is a pensioner. He probably worked in an era when Obasanjo reigned supreme in the days of Operation Feed the Nation and Green Revolution.

Meaning he must have worked for decades before retirement. So you mean that in the years your uncle worked for a living, he could not learn how to
prepare land. plant suckers and apply manure, then water them; things I learnt and did as a child. What does it really take to learn these things and practice them?

I am sorry to say this. Your uncle has lost his money. That is the price he has to pay.

Everything in this world has a price. When and how you this price is paid, as well as the ultimate cost to the individual depends on how that individual lives his life.

The things you fail to do as a youth to secure your old age, end up costing a heavy price years later.

Here people will only talk...you are right. But again, I would not get too much into relying on your method. You want to use court. Lol. Well, it may work ONLY if its fraud. I am sure yiu signed agreements with the company. You better go and check very well cos if he calls force majeure due to Covid-19 and he can prove it...that is when you close the case yourself. If his lawyer can best you. Also, even he is guilty, and he has the limited liability clause protecting him, you cannot touch his private properties. That is how it is. Law is Law. The court can only compel him to return to farm amd find a way to pay you, or ordered sales of his properties at work only if there is signal that he does not want to continue the business again. Otherwise, he will push the payment forward and there is nothing you can do about it.

So, again, people are telling you on this forum that you better look well. With your education, you still fall into these farming investment here and there. If this country is OK, adverts in such manner should.be removed online. Yet, even nairaland allows it. Why? To promote traffic on its site. You better accept it that you messed up. Next time go and give another set of people after they have sweet mouthed you. You hear. One can still understand the blind man, you that have two eyes, n yo re still talking like you acted well. I pity you.

Be careful. As soon as they demand 1 kobo for the service, run away. Using social media is far more effective, except when the case is already in the public that it may be a bit hard for the company to bribe it's way out.

While we acknowledge delay in paying your ROI we also apologise for it. It’s also of note that the business has engaged you at various times and through various personnel of the company including our MD the same day you visited the office. The organisation and its management are responsible combination and is doing everything possible to get you paid.

The officer you referred to in your post is a senior member of the company. We are not sure he would say any “nonsense stuff” to you or any other person under any circumstance. He’s a responsible officer acting on behalf of the company. Except you’re referring to the date of payment of your outstanding ROI he gave you as a nonsense date.

On the alleged treatment by our staff in closing the office. Our internal investigation didn’t show the occurrence of such treatment of closing windows and doors against you. Other clients who closed with them like you did on the day did not notice your claim. Be that as it may, we reaffirm our commitment to treat everyone with courtesy irrespective of situation. So accept our apologies given that you felt so.

Finally, in the interest of others and as a courtesy we would appreciate your restraint in display of individual name and personal information in public spaces. I am sure no one would like that for whatever reasons.

For further details on payment of your due ROI and for your security, we will call you and send you a mail.
