My ppr journey
I learnt more about Canada immigration from a family friend who just migrated in easter of 2018. She encouraged me to do it and preached many sermons on the benefits. After all I am still very much single and it would be easy for me. I researched and researched then I found the travel session in Nairaland. The page became my best friend, I absorbed myself in the information. Then my journey began.
IELTS - I wrote 4 times because of WRITING. My writing was always 6.5 until the 4th time I got 7. Every other module was always passed well. 17th April 2019, I finally got it.
WES: After all UNILAG stress it was out by 15 October 2018.
I was already in the pool so my score increased to 450 after my final result. I wasn't planning on writing another IELTS to increase my writing and I felt the score was good enough but na lie, ITA started hitting record highs.
Before then I already chose Edmonton Alberta as my province of destination because from my research it had a big city small town feel and that's what I wanted: I don tire for Lagos Jare. God of miracles appeared on my behalf on the 31st July 2019. Alberta sent me NOI. I was depressed that day when I saw it so it was a great relief .
Why i believe it was a miracle is because i was using 1 year experience. My NYSC in which I was a secretary and that's about 6 years back. My tellering and customer service in the bank is not qualified so don't blame me. I sprang into action and submitted to Alberta, it was going smooth until Alberta asked me for my personal income taxes for that period. Fear cash me. I just told them it was funded by the government so I was tax exempted. Gave them my NYSC certificate and LOE. 22nd September I received my nomination.
ITA - 2nd October 2019
AOR - 23rd October 2017
Medicals passed - 14 November 2019.
Bil - 18 November 2019.
When I heard my visa office was accra. I had minor heart attack but we moveeeeee.

GU - 6TH May 2020, i ordered GCMS note and observed I was on recommended interview and the reason was retracted. I got ghost update in July and ordered GCMS note. I found out my POF and bank Letter of employment was sent for verification.Their reason was its the same organization. I got plenty ghost update with their back and forth. I put pressure on my bosses at the office. In fact, I was exhausted. I stopped counting ghost update because I had more than 10.
12th November 2020 - ADR for schedule 4. I submitted immediately and additional documents changed to N/A.
26th November 2020 - medical extended.
3rd December 2020 - PPR in my mail.
Thanks to everyone: from GCMS court to friends i made in this group to everyone in this group. You cushioned the effect this process made on my mental health. I am very grateful.
Manage my story please and don't mark errors i am not good at writing.

Well done house. Pls I want you all to help me access this. I finished my ND in october 2012 and did my IT till september 2013, then I was employed from October 2013 till November 2014 (a whole year). After which I went back to school for my degree, then I finished in september 2018. NYSC was october 2018 to September 2019. Then I got employed in November 2019 till date. My question is this, is it possible for me to use my employment history from October 2013 till November 2014 (after I finished my ND), does it count as part of the years of experience too? Thank you
Absolutely , you can as long as it was in NOC 0,A & B.

Please guys, who has an idea of how to declare remita payment receipt to FUTA for WES VERIFICATION of documents. I already paid the fee for verification (got the Remita RRR number through the school's website). I have no means of getting to Akure and don't have anyone to assist, who could walk into the school.

Please help a brother with any useful info or contact.

If the companies are different (companies B1 and B2) and I was a VO I would be suspicious that they have the same JD....no matter how similar the roles, I don't think any two companies can have the exact same JD.

Remember a LOE should make things clearer to a VO, not confuse him further! I thought companies B1 and B2 were already writing your JD why are you mentioning company A?

IRCC doesn't ask us to specify what type of staff we are (as far as I know), just follow the IRCC guidelines on hours, pay duties etc...remember the checklist should be your second bible.

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/permanent-residence/express-entry/applications-received-on-after-january-1-2016-completeness-check.html

Sir the point is that Company A employed me and conducted all the necessary things(interview and all). But I was given a letter for B1 for 1st year, after the first year, they (Coy A) gave me another letter for B2. Hence, I have been performing the same job role for the company A through two different contractors(B1-ended and B2-continuing till date).

I know I am getting two different ref letters from B1 and B2, but the Job roles has been exactly the same given my explanation above. How can the Job roles be presented please?

Hi, I'm not sure what to advise as I'm a novice myself. Seniors may assist too.
All I can say is that feeling nervous is okay but try not to let it overwhelm you.
Learn the techniques of the exam. Trust that all you have practised is good enough. You can do it.
One more thing, there are so many good learning resources out there, try to stick to at most three so as not to be overwhelmed.
Keep practicing. I wish you all the best.
