So I brought this topic here because I need contributions on this topic.

Every now and then you hear 'Go learn a skill' 'Go learn a skill' and they make it look like it should be only handwork like electrical work, tailoring, printing or some type of 'handwork'...

I for one, I'm still in my final year, no thanks to the ongoing strike. And I get this stuffs alot, I don't like technical stuffs so I work online and make money from it. But this go and learn handwork is beginning to disturb me.. as I'm more if the tech-business type of guy.

A lot of people think I don't work, because I don't go out of the house, only my Mom and Dad ( but only mom knows the full details of the work I do) know I work online .

Today, I went to church and one of my church member was asking me why I'm I not learning something (handwork). He is thinking I don't work and I told him I'm working already and asked why type of work, refused to answer him cause he was asking too much questions.

So my question is, are web development, programming, Digital Marketing and others not skills.

I'm 20 by the way and I have been able to raise N200k from my online stuff ( with a plan of investing in an offline business when it reaches N500k) but this go and learn skill from people is beginning to annoy me.

Please what's your take on this?
