No, that's not whatbreally pained me. My pain was that I felt betrayed by someone I hold in a very high esteem. You needed to see the way I respect this guy, even without letting him know. I was down to earth to him, I did errands for his wife, we discuss other businesses and I offer my experience advice and even put in little efforts. I can remember a timenhe called me to seek advice before buying one civic he shipped down. I've been a Honda fan for many years so i know a few things one can bank on. Even during the covid19 lockdown I was the one who informed him about the evacuation by the united state government which he left with the following week. I didn't see him as just my boss but like an elderly brother. I never for once cheated neither did missed used the priority I'd.

The ine that broke the camels back was... How can you make a mockery of somebody that trusted you by relating his personal worries to you?" He said something like, literally, "having a spot for his w*f*". Menh... I was like. Really??!! That was where I think our problem started.

But I Thank God its all in the past now chai b4 them go come accuse me of what I've no knowledge of ooh... Thank God he even retrieved his car because I believe God used that to rescue me from bigher problem ahead.

Anyways, I've apologise to him even when i know I did no wrong and I've long move on but it obvious my Oga is still pained. If that is the case baba please im sorry for anything, every where i may have wrong you please sorry.

God bless you.

Peace.

You can help him read whatever parts he wants to read. I was minding my own business and obviously you didn't read that part or you fail to read it ......

Now what I expected from you as a friend to him , for you to pull him aside and caution him . This is why JP does not tolerate nonsense from anybody, his approach might be overly aggressive, but that is transport business for you...

back to my point if you don't call it as you see it and be honest and candid about it .. You basically encouraging his bad behavior ... I dont have issues with him at all.. But when he came at me and poke at me ,which he evidently did and I presented that to you .. I have no choice than to give him what he is looking for .. I don't do it out of malice , I do it cause am very comfortable in my skin .......

Baba is do na... Oya sorry na no vex. Sorry okay... It's okay...

Remember that little boy we meet in traffic that day? Selling some stuff? That you gave Some money?? I believe you know what I mean.

Is it because of the gallon of 20w40 or what ever its called palm oil you find in the trunk that got you pieced? That gallon was just for buying fuel for the car and for the generator set. Or was it taking your car outta state that was the issue? Had you mentioned it to me before trust it wouldnt have happened. The police man spoke to madam via my phone, I have 1000 and 1 women I would have called for a defense but I didn't do that... It was after the call madam informed me you don't permit outta state journey. Trust that was the only time and it was mainly because I'd to move some property I left behind...

Could there be something else? Apologies please.

Thanks.

I've stayed out of this but honestly dru, if he was going to your mechanic I don't see how he was putting 20W50 in your car. Unless the car was shorting oil, there are a million reasons why it was in the trunk. If it wasn't shorting oil, it makes sense why your oil was at home- it wasn't needed until it was time for the next oil change. I do think you need to query your mechanic because if he does it once, he'll do it again. Or is it the one you no longer use already in which case it doesn't matter.

As for the other stuff of going out of town, I comment my reserve because you won't like my opinion. But for the oil, from what you describe, I don't think he did it.

Exactly what i have been thinking Ma,

Besides if a car is shorting oil, u will only be doing the top up at home early in the morning, ull definitely not topping it anytime of the day and also not be carrying the oil keg around.

The 20w50 u saw was it filled with oil when it was found in the trunk?

I still believe there is a miscommunication and prejudice is what is happening here.
Peace

I am very sorry for intervening in this matter . Sincerely, I only did that due to the way the only woman we have in our midst was trying to calm both side down.
Why will I support or against what the guy did when I knew nothing about how the whole thing happened? I was not raised that way.
If me asking you to bury the matter means I'm supporting the wrong the guy did. I'm sorry once again.
Let me sha know when Castrol edge will be available.

I don't think he should. Why?

Both dru and Felicity contribute a lot to this forum. Felicity has moved on and is now driving a different vehicle and dru has moved on and sold his. Further dragging this will only cause a divide and/or ostracize one or the other.

I feel Felicity should apologize GENUINELY for anything he may have done that shook dru's trust in him whether it was intentional or not. I think it was not telling dru about it not the actual going out of town that originally pained dru. I know I hate it when I find things out from third parties.

In turn, dru should apologize for using ogbon agba to collect his car from Felicity grin why? Because he left Felicity in a state of uncertainty as to a source of income when he could have simply told him immediately after he seized the car so he could go seek a new source of income. I think that is what pains Felicity who had a pregnant wife at home.

Once that is done, both men should have a drink, bury the hatchet, NEVER speak of it again and go back to contributing to this thread.

So, who's going to be a bigger man about this first?

Even though someone says you are the president of politicians on dis thread . I don’t care whatever dey say about you and 4K scanner
Right now you are the chief peacemaker. grin

In the case involving dru23 Vs Felicity0001

After hearing from both parties.

Here is my verdict:

Having listen to both parties pitch there defense and witnesses, bearing in mind non of the parties invited an external witness,

Dru23 as you said in your witness and defense that you are not angry anymore and only wanted to present your perspective premised on the fact that the other party resuscitated the issue, this honourable court hereby appeal further to you to allow peace rain and as well accept the tendered apology from Mr Felicity.

Felicity0001 having presented your defense to some raised issue by the other party witness, and as well tendered an open apology to Mr Dru, this honourable court hereby appeal to you to allow peace rain and desist from further comment on the issue.

I hereby dismiss this case and appeal again to both parties to allow peace to rain and let's all learn from our different experience, as we all know experience is the best teacher.

Finally, as the apex court, this case is dissolved and dismissed ascetua anyone who tries to pull up the case will be treated as a Terrorist

We found your bag and Mobil 20w50 in the boot of my civic after I stylishly collected my car from you .. You can pick it at the gate man post.. ( I have no use for Mobil 20w50 ) .. You of all people know that I will never use such oil in my cars or generator ...how it crawl to the booth of my car , is between you and God.. Since I always give you my imported oil when oil change is due.....

Ps .. We will give you 30 days notice from today Monday December 7th 2020 to pick up your junk. After that it will be discarded .... And the left over gallon of Mobil 1 extended performance that is with you. We don't need it coz I don't know what might of been switch inside it . And you can keep the spare key as a souvenir...... Thank you and have a bless week ...

Thanks for your input... When the car was shorten oil , I was advice to use 20w50.( which I decline ).So I had Ayo Bishop to open up the valve cover.. The valve gasket was worn out and oil seal was replaced .. I was around to witness all the repairs myself.. After that the car didn't short oil anymore.......

And to why 20w50 was doing in the booth of my car ,I don't know o, also the left over gallon of Mobil 1 should have been in the boot of the car just incase of future top up.. Whatever reasons he gave I really can't understand it.......

You mention that I will not like your opinion for the out of town trip...how many car owners will approve their drivers do out of state trip , without their permission .. Out of state trip is a big no no in this business.. If he had ask me I would have said " NO" .. We knew about it when he got pulled over in Benin.. The police called to verify the owner of the car, if that didn't happen I wouldn't have known at all.....
I asked him why did he take the car out of Lagos ,he said shebbi is "my money he was looking for" . He now said that where did it say in the contract that he can't travel out of state.... Are u now ",Radauto" telling me that I should have stated that in the contract, that car is not meant for out of state.. Better yet are you justify what he did.. There nothing to justify what he did and you can't convince me otherwise........

For some reason I think you are now become part of the drivers association .. You seems to support a lot of their nonsense here and you agree with them a lot. For whatever reasons I don't know, Am not talking with malice here , but just observations ... i

In my book right is right and wrong is wrong no matter who it is . I tend to be vocal here on nairaland due to the fact that I answer to nobody and nobody pays my bill . It allows me to talk not only objectively, but also without bias ..

Again I want to say I have no ill feelings towards him. I parted ways for different reasons. I just wanted to clear the Air up on your post here.. Thank you for your time

Hmmm... The last two days has been interesting on this thread. Plenty "gbas gbos"( I learnt this on this forum).

The fact that we quarrel goes to show we are humans. We know each other on a daily...

Enhen. abeg, I've been following this thread for more than 2years now and I think I'm interested in e-hailing. My savings will be 300k by January ending God's willing. I intend depositing this money for a Nigerian used car on hire purchase. Please what brand is best to start with?. If you say Corolla, abeg give me tips to disable the "thief magnet"

I'm based in Benin. And I plan on doing 25k weekly on hire purchase. Is it possible for me to net 30k weekly after balance?

Please use your worse day in Lagos to help me analyze as average in Benin.

Thanks.
