Lol. It always appear to look fair. The odd is actually very high for others except the BSc/HND. This are d position of interest to the rich and powerful, even d positions no do the extremely powerful na common man wan come dey hope. I'm sorry I sound negative but 3years after graduation and applying for every position available tends to kill a man's hope. If I sound negative abeg make unna no vex.

Jamb duty is to conduct and forward the exams scores. Trust me, some names have been shortlisted for d screening already, jamb score list is just to add few names to them. Jamb part is already over, is not their recruitment so they don't have a say after forwarding d scores. Its all over to d powerful men at immigration and interior

Congrats to those that wrote this exam. But please don't put ur mind too much into this. Remember that NIS only need 4500 out of 75000 that were invired for d exams. Without sure connection ur chances of getting this job is extremely low. I remembered my NNPC experience, after writing exam, I got lucky to be invited for interview and I was like maybe God is indeed marvelous and he will rly help a poor struggling guy, I was wrong, after waiting more than 8 months with intense fasting and prayer, I wasn't picked, I had d knife in my hand and I was a sec from suicide. So please don't put too much mind to it, in fact cancel ur mind from it and go about ur normal duty. At the end if u get the job consider urself extremely lucky and remember, nothing is fair about this recruitment, u will never see ur test score and names and application numbers will be massively swapped for those with sure connect. This naija, even if dey say it will be fair don't deceive urself into believing it is fair. Good luck

For those that wrote the exams, hope we have all gotten back to our destination safely...am.not an expert, but from the experience I have gotten from friends...it's time to press ur buttons harder...don't look at those empty seats o...them don dey for final.list allready...pray pray and pray..I know of someone that did not even write prison exams / screening..he was called for documentation and the guy knows no One...tHe journey to the final collecting of appointment letter is very long and not straightforward..this guys can break ur heart eh.. even after documentation in Abuja, some guys no see appointment letter collect in 2017 recruitment... PRAY FOR THE GRACE OF GOD TO SPEAK FOR U... REMEMBER THST WHST IS URS WILL GET TO U EVEN IF IT BENEATH TWO MOUNTAINS AND WHAT IS NOT MEANT FOR U WILL NEVER REACH U EVEN IF IT BENEATH UR TWO LIPS..I encourage everyone of us( shortlisted/not shortlisted) to keep thier faith in God alone...remain Blessed

Chill luck they enter at times... I convinced a friend who had no single interest about force work and we both applied for police in 2016 with ssce leaving our ND behind,this dude wasn't interested in any way, I checked all the list for him including the final list and he was favoured via less candidates in his local govt, he was decorated as corporal last week along side the other of my guy that did try your luck...

Am 200% sure this guys knew no one, I was even the one interested but here are my still an applicant.. Luck dey enter for some people..

My guy that got police job in 2018 without anyone still got airforce last week, he left for training today.. Connect dey few luck dey too..

They should come and speak for themselves. Joining police with or without ssce is wey very easy without connect. Reasons be say na suffer man job but you see any FG job in nigeria especially para military et all wey you go start with first degree bro you better know somebody or somebody know you. It's well

Thats how I did NNPC exam, all the way to the interview in abuja.. They were even congratulating me. Those examiners... Lol.
8 months later, nothing....

I will suggest you go on with your life and don't wait for this.
I hope you get invited, if you aren't, it will be easy to move on.

Hope for the best, expect the worst.

The way some of you conclude that a certain number of people didn't show up.


78,000 was shortlisted. If 20,000 people didn't show up, you have 50,000 people competing for about 4,500 places.


Stop making it look like a few people wrote the exams.


It is still very competitive. Comments like this is what will make people scream connection when they don't finally make it because they read somewhere that many people didn't show up.
