while I thank God on your behalf however my question is what would such a pit be doing there for someone to fall into. We have left almost every responsibility in this country to God and when we survive avoidable calamities in this country we quickly go spiritual instead of asking questions and making sure no one falls victim to such.
I don't know. It was my first time there and didn't even know a pit had been dug there and I kid you not, all I needed to do was move one foot and it would have been 'gone so soon'.

Lol...I don't really know how I was able to get pass this...though its not my first time but somehow God did what He does best!

Few days to my birthday April 25th,I had a football competition going on,though there was lockdown cos of the covid-19 outbreak but we were told to continue cos Benue had no case (as of then) and movement wasn't really restricted.

On this fateful day when the match was going on those guys were very aggressive and on the other hand its a must win game to enable us qualify for the next round...of course we were winning in first half by 3-0 and luckily I was on the scoresheet with an assist to my name...

On the brick of halftime the worst happened. My opponent made a very bad and hard tackle on me and when I saw my leg, I could see my bone peeping out of my hose, my foot was lying helplessly on the floor...it was like a dream. The officials and spectators where afraid to come close cos of the blood gushing out.... I had to straighten it myself before someone with experience came to help...

I lost my job,my phone that was given to me by my employee and my house rent was due for payment. I can't tell what really happened but God surprised me... its been almost eight months now and to God be the glory I've improved to using a walking-stick

NT: Within those eight months they had to rebreak it up to 4 times cos of wound and infections...I can't wait to get back to pitch! grin

haah! you still wan go back to pitch?
I actually admire your zeal and courage bro. Get back stronger and better you can still be the next big name after Messi and Ronaldo ;d

Was shot, still ran with the bullet nd was chased.. On trying to finish me off God did a miracle I still can't fathom, he looked at me fiercely while the gun pointed at me, turned and walked away..

I just love the game...Its a way of life for me,my escape root to most of my problems and answers to some of my questions

though am not playing for "name" cos Nigeria disappointed me, In 2012 I went for under17 screening and cos I had no ''godfather/sponsor" I was left out...couple with the fact that my dad doesn't love football..I was disappointed.

I survived one of the greatest sickness of my life. I can't defecate (shit). Doc said they have to open my tummy to perform surgery. By virtue of win or lose, the doc inserted a pipe through my nose down to where I can't feel in my body, two days later, a small shit came out , I was relieved and that was how I started to shit small small ooo. I con dey envy other patients or anybody that want to shit. Being healthy is the greatest asset, gift of life that we can have , don't underate it.

Praise to Jehovah Almighty. Good point at bolded

Yes! What do you think you have survived most this year and could have caused one harmful thing or the other to you?

As for me I have escaped accident thrice this year which could have caused me my life. I could remember traveling from Ibadan to ilorin and the driver stopped all of a sudden in Oyo and was like he couldn't go further cuz the bus we were in could have a break failure . Infact it was God that saved us all that day.

So let's hear from you, what have you survived this year?

Are u kidding me? Guy, being alive in Nigeria is enough to give Thanksgiving. Being a Nigerian is enough to die untimely, but if you are still alive today, guy, thank God. We naija no kill will live like Methuselah

I survived a fatal motor vehicle accident on Lagos - Ibadan express road when one of the back tyres of the SUV I was driving in bursted. The tumbled twice into a nearby gully.

I was the 3rd occupant of the vehicle, incidentally we just passed our professional exams in Abuja a day before. We were returning back to Ibadan, to rejoice and celebrate with our family members and colleagues at work.

That was when I realized that it's only a thin line that separate live from death, indeed no one is promised of tomorrow.

I have survived being admitted at the hospital 3 times this year!

From January 17th to 22nd (my birthday), May 26th (the day I lost one of my paternal uncles), to June 2nd.. And again, from October 26th to November 1st.

Really it's not been easy this year, but I thank God for saving me! I shall not die at this young age. I will live a happy life, witness and testify the blessings of God in my life, Amen.

My goods crashed on transit, early this year
(I’m into phones and other gadgets)
High end Apple and Samsung phone screens shattered with others.

I automatically went broke, it was a terrible experience, like I should just die...lol
Still trying to get back on my feet

All glory to God. Amen!
Thank God for you dear

Typical of me whenever I’m in Nigeria. Immediately I step out, I regain my well being and health fully. I always take malaria or typhoid medication atleast once a month when I’m in Nigeria. Reason why the life span of an average Nigerian is pegged at 54, the body continually fight disease at regular intervals thereby constantly engaging the immune system and depreciating its capacity until it is finally weakened and the person is left at the mercies of fate and time.

Try to always eat food and take supplements that boost immune system
You're entirely right! Almost nothing works well here.
With regards the meal and supplements, I take to that. Thank you and do have a nice day ahead.

Had a serious Accident at Ibadan on my way to Osun State from Lagos in February and both the car I was and another Soldier's Car was Damaged seriously and the Car almost caught fire...

All the Loads I had inside the car that I was taking for an outreach got Damaged...

came out of the car alive and not a single scratch because the car was beyond repair...

Had to come back to Lagos that Day for serious check up and the soldier whose car also was destroyed demanded for #1.75m saying he just bought it and wanted a transfer immediately at the accident spot but thank God I had to involve the police and an undertaken was signed...
to cut the long story short sha, we settled the matter with about #1.2m after several months..

had to go back 2 days later for the outreach, and returning back to Lagos, COVID 19 set in by march..

nay in all this, I am more than conqueror because it was the mercy of God that preserved me...

2021 will surely make sense because we will all be alive to bounce back bigger and better in Jesus name. Amen
