Violence broke out in Uyo, the Capital city of Akwa Ibom state when a little fracas broke out at Nassarawa the abattoir, housing the Hausa community in the state, and the violence did spread to Ibom Plaza the very heart of the state as shots were being fired everywhere, with people running helter skelter and shops looted with reckless abandon.
