I hear say some churches get Bible different from the normal Bible

If you consider Jehovah witnesses and Mormons to be Christians, they get them own Bible but apart from those, I know not!

When Jehovah's Witnesses came to your door in the past, didn't they usually ask you to bring out your King James Bible so as to continue the discussion? In my experience, I've seen that most people just like shifting goalposts when it comes to Biblical matters. First, people will accuse JWs of having their own Bibles, then when JWs quote the same verse from their King James, they'll shift attention and say the Bible has been edited and reedited! So many people are fond of this.

But they do have their Bible version? It's been long I got visited by a Jehovah witness - I'd remember our Bibles don't agree sometimes. Yet we had very fruitful conversations.

The New World Translation published by Jehovah's Witnesses restores the Divine Name of the true God, Jehovah to the more than 7,000 places in the Scriptures where it belongs. There's nothing like masquerading under the title “LORD” so we're not confused on who Jehovah and Jesus are.
Moreover the NWT uses modern English. Nothing like “spaketh” or “findeth” or “walketh” in it. We've gone past old English and I'm sure you agree.

The NWT also has several features. It harmonizes with the original Hebrew and Greek texts whereas the KJ and others often add or subtract from the original texts.

King James Bible was the Bible translated specifically for the Church of England, just as the Catholic church had its own Catholic Bible, the Anglican Church had its king james Bible.
