Essentially, Trump has no more outlets for victory.

Any attempt to change the result to 'favour' him will come across as the attempt of a third world dictator trying to adjust the results...and it won't end well.

Trump should accept defeat, and move on.

Well, if the US was like Nigeria, or many other African countries...Trump would have just sat down and written the results to favor him.

Unfortunately, the US is not like Nigeria, inasmuch as you Trump supporters want it to be really. Elections in the US are run in a decentralized way.

And let's be honest. Trump lost. Largely because of the economy and also because the majority of younger voters are leaning Democrat. And because he is irritating and has a temper

Not that Biden is better. The sad thing is , the US, like Nigerians, and indeed like most democracies, prefers the familliar to real change....which leads me to the main reason why Trump lost...

He promised to drain the swamp...instead he revelled in it.
He promised to build the wall...instead we got tales...

2.Evangelical chirsitans voted for trump not because they loved him, but because he was,of the two terrible candidates of 2016, the one promising to do something about some of the issues they cared about.(abortion, supreme court judges).Also, Trump was promising to bring back jobs, and a large segment of Evangelicals work in the blue collar sector...where a lot of jobs have been lost since the 1990's...thanks to NAFTA signed by HilarY CLINTON'S Hubby.

It is the same reason why LGBTQ people voted for Clinton and Obama , despite clinton signing anti-gay laws like DOMA, and Don't ask, don't tell, and Obama being a hypocrite about gay marriage (he was for gay marriage , then he wasn't, then he was), why black people voted for Lyndon Johnson despite him using racist slurs in private, and for Kennedy despite Kennedy having never interacted with black people in his life prior to 1959, anbd why racist Southerners voted for Nixon in 1968...DEPSITE nixon being anti-segregrationsit.

Here in Nigeria, a lot of IPOB people came out and voted for Atiku. Despite Atiku saying he was against secession. Why? Because Atiku was promising restructuring...which is the next best thing.

We can laugh at the Evangelicals...but we also have to laugh at yourself, ourselves, and everyone else for being hypocrites, and for our gods, and ideals and what have you failing us.

You are right, but in the minds of many people, he is a 'hypocrite'. Just like many people call Christians 'hypocrites' for voting trump. And people call IPOB members hypocrites for voting Atiku last year, and so on.

The sad thing is, politics is not a black and white game. For some of us, we tend to treat it as if it is..like the guy I was originally responding to.Christians should not vote for trump because Trump is a womanizer, a corrupt person, and so on.

But as one American political commentator once said...'in politics you go with the candidates you have,not the ones you wish you had'.

I mean, in 2008, Obama said he did not support Gay marriage. Gays voted for him. For some, the gays were hypocrites. But in the end, Obama appointed two supreme court judges who were a vital part of striking down the laws against gay marriage in court in 2011/12.

Hypocrisy works sometimes.
