Whereas the Fulani are proud to proclaim their ethnicity. Buhari was known to have identified himself as a Fulani from Daura without even being asked.

The Hausas were Muslims even before the Fulani came with there jihad in 1808,Othman Dan fodio during his jihad in 1808,through his teaching made some Hausas to turn against their kings and leaders and to fight against their own people.Then fulani Emir's instead of kings were installed in Hausas kingdoms in the north,An Emir is not the Hausas culture,the Hausas culture works with kings,the Fulani installed such after defeating the Hausas..
There is nothing like Hausas/fulani,the Hausas are different from fulani...

The Hausas were a great people and we're even exporting textiles to the Arab world's as far back as the 14th century they are hardworking people,but I don't think allowing the Fulani to rule over them was a good idea...
