Dynamos are still more reliable than panels.


Actually, they don't use dynamos. They use turbines instead. Dynamos are archaic and therefore, redundant.

Confused Genius, How can the Government be smarter than the masses, when it is the masses that constitutes the Government? People like you have not lived abroad, to envision Nigeria our Country from the broader horizon & perspective.

The Nigerian people have a poor orientation & are a failed people, you cannot separate the people from the Government, Nigerians Rule Nigerians, not foreigners. People say Nigeria is a failed state because the people have a static approach to development, no electricity in 2021, yet an ignorant kid will blame the Government, yet bordering countries around them governed by Africans have constant electricity.

Who is the Government? We the Citizens of Nigeria is the Government, when you live amongst other Africans in the diaspora, it isn’t too hard to know a Nigerian, there ways are very different from other West African Brethren.

Solar, Hydro and Thermal are all equally viable for Nigeria, but a situation where power plants are located in the SouthWest to supply the North West is complete madness and an operational nightmare.

Power Source, Generation and transmission should be reduce to regions. Let the South West be responsible for all it's power requirements based on it economic requirements considering it industrial capacity, population and the number of government and commercial establishment.

A bad tree can never yield good fruits, the black man ain’t got no sense, the whole system was designed fail, the world has abandoned fossil fuel, & is all about renewal energy today, here in Nigeria we are still struggling to improve on fossil energy, we the people are incompetent, we are a reflection of the people that rule us, if I was any better than they are, I would have been the one in the position of power.

The hydro and gas electricity will have is not constant and regular, with the little or no light they supply, we pay for what we don't use. Estimated billing system everywhere. To meter people is a thug of war. Playing politics with virtually everything, I weep for this country.
