Exactly, mutiny things. Only those pro players know how they manage to pull it off. Arteta will end up like Mourinho at Chelsea and Utd as long as Mesut is in that club but remains freezed out. He should even know better with the way the youth players turn up in Europa but the senior stars are the complete opposite in the EPL.

I would be surprised if they actually did this.
By January Ozil would be deep in discussions with his next club, since his contract expires in May 2021.

In any case, Ozil cannot function in a club like Arsenal where he is the only creative threat. He is too easily crowded off the ball hence his very poor outputs before his benching.
He needs to be in a team with multiple threats, so that the opposition can not focus their defenders on him alone, and then he would have space to cause havoc. Unfortunately such clubs like Real, Baryern, Juve etc. don't necessarily need him given his advanced age.

As for his future with Arsenal, that 'ship has long sailed' in my opinion.

Preach!!! All these daft cunts feel Ozil would come bk and everything would magically become better. Same Ozil that has just about 3 assists in as many yrs, same Ozil that Wenger hardly played in away matches, Same Ozil who since he's been at Arsenal, we've won just 2 away matches and he played neither. Emery also dropped him and everyone was clamouring for him and when he returned to the team he was shit and the team was shit. Arteta played him at first noticed he was shit and dropped him. Exactly. For all his so called "creativity" his stats are frigging poor and I'm not talking about chances created stat where if you take a corner kick or set peice it counts towards your stat. He's such a defensive liability that his output does not offset his drawbacks. Nowadays teams attack and defend as a unit, if you don't you are easily destroyed. See Barcelona as an example, Messi and Suarez hv a lot of attacking output per se but you find them hardly pressing with the team especially messi who just walks around and hence the team loses its defensive shape(see bayern spanking em ). At the apogee of football where the devil is in the detail, games are won on very slim margins so you can't get away been lax and having a laissez-faire attitude about pressing and defending.
