Successive APC governments in Lagos have discovered that there money in the market. Otherwise, why will they force Tinubu's daughter on market people without election. |

Valentine Buraimoh is the worst LG chairman FESTAC has ever had. Man with no vision. His only concern is how he can get money. FESTAC roads are weeping and wailing, pleading for help. 2nd Ave was closed for a long time. 11 Rd is closed. 512 Rd is a reverse work of art. Alakija axis has been abandoned. But the Shameless malooo does not see mschwww |

In as much as I hate being tribal in my comments,I have observed that when it comes to demolition of markets/shops in Lagos State,it is always done with ipunity and lawlessness by the government because ninety percentage of the shop owners in big markets are easterners. |

If truly there is no notice, the government has done their worse and God will put them to shame. This looting should be condemned totally, even palliative looting is bad. |

Were these shops built last month? What do they mean by illegal structures? Did not someone of appropriate authority not approve the buildings? Did they not see the building while it was under construction? This is what happens when corruption is the order of the day. If truly the shop owners were not notified and or compensated, then it is unfair what the government did/is doing. Wonder what they will now use that space for. To plant grass/tress or what exactly? |

![]() Let's get serious... Notification of demolition would had been given several times with traders daring the Government or paying bribe to civil servants Only in Nigeria would a place be marked for demolition with red marking for months, yet occupants won't go to court for redress or simply seek redress with the Government . |

haryorbarmie83:Onyefulu also confirmed that police officers and soldiers of the Nigerian Army were present at the site with guns, thereby causing confusion that allowed the hoodlums to have a field day on people's property. "The police and the army were there with their AK-47 rifles, shooting into the air so that people were more traumatised and confused. Some people had travelled for the weekend; they were not around. Some that didn't travel were in their houses. It was a Saturday and those that were even in the shops, it took them by surprise that they were not able to save their goods. "How do we account for the property worth billions of naira that was looted there, when there were over 5,000 shop owners? This is coming at a time that people are yet to recover from the effects of COVID-19 and the EndSARS protest." When we say that Nigeria hates Easterners, some will say its a lie. When we also ask Easterners to return from Lagos, some Lagosians will claim we are dividing Nigeria. When it is said that there is a plot to destroy the Igbos business by the APC Govt. & Tinubu boys, others will say Nnamdi Kanu has come with lies. Now - WHAT IS HAPPENING? Destroying peoples shop without NOTICE is an act to be described as HATES for those Shop owners and a way of telling them "GO TO YOUR PLACE". If I were among the owners - I will not just leave, but will go the spiritual way to seek vengeance and huge damage compensation from the Army, Police, LGA authority and Lagos Government. When we claim to be One Nigeria, it should also reflect in our actions. I do not like PRETENCE, If I don't like you - I will tell you to your face to stay aware from me because I don't like you. The West and North should stop SEEKING FOR ONE NIGERIA, when in their individual minds we are not and never ONE. Just like Fake Pastor Adeboye will preach love to Igbos only to deceive them for their offerings to his Purse, not never shared any palliative to them during the lockdown despite their contributions to the church for these past years. DEVIL everywhere claiming Men of God. This is A WICKED ACT AND MUST BE TAKEN TO THE COURTH FOR REDRESS. |

HonLord:All this long epistle means nothing but mere ranting You have Politicians who are Ibos, you have Lawmakers , and you have Governors, you have people in the Judiciary like Mary Odili Approach them for a dissolution of Nigeria through constitutional means.... North or South is not holding you , Adeboye is not holding you, you are holding yourself Illegal Shops and structure are demolished everywhere everytime, it happened in Kano, Kaduna and Anambra this year so stop acting as if any fvck is given in Lagos if you violated building code . |

That is how civil servants reason. They see every business person as a rich man because they have never encountered the pains of running a business. Can the LG chairman show pictures or video of where he pasted the notice informing traders of the impending market demolition ? Or can he prove that when the bulldozers arrived that his team allowed traders 2 hours to remove their goods ? You are devils in human form. Sanwo olu should discipline his erring staff. |
