How to read the Bible (KJV 1611 Bible only)

I. When it comes to reading the Bible, don’t read into the Bible. Don’t go to the Bible with the idea that “I already know what its gonna say.” Read the Bible not because you have to, but because you want to, and let the Bible speak to you. Remember the Bible is reading you, you are not reading it. The Bible is the only Book in the universe that reads you while you read it, and if you read it with the wrong heart, you’ll get the wrong interpretation. That’s how you go about to explain false doctrine and things like that because the Bible is absolute truth, but it can be affected by how you look into that mirror (James 1:23 shows that the word of God is likened to a mirror). So if your mirror is cracked by your own perception, then you will look at the passage and not see it rightly divided. Romans to Philemon will give you a clearer view of the entire Bible.

II. Rightly divide (2 Timothy 2:15). When reading the Bible, pay attention to:
A. Who is talking: Is it God, devil, or man?
B. Who are they talking to? Is it the Jews, Gentiles, or church of God? (See 1 Corinthians 10:32).
When you don’t rightly divide the word of God, and start using the passages for the Jews and Gentiles, and apply it to the church, you’ll find yourself in a mess. Now people are living under the Old Testament promises to the nation of Israel from Abraham to the law, and they are preaching them everyday, and people are jumping into it thinking they will get those prosperity. The reason the Jews were getting those blessings for doing right is because they didn’t get everything by grace through faith, so God showed them mercy by saying “if you do what is right, I will bless your land, children etc..” But we are the church of God and we got everything by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9). The false teachings then messes people up. You will be serving the Lord and waiting on prosperity, and your bank account is down while your blood pressure is up. When you take the Old Testament promises and apply it to church age, you’re not going to stay faithful for long because you’re not getting anything for it. Then the devil will fool you by telling you “how come God loves you and let you have that sickness or not blessing you with prosperity, etc..?” The devil’s greatest trick is to blind you with earthly things that you can’t see the future/eternal things. Even fraudsters/thieves, prostitutes/money for sex, covetous men, etc all believe that the material things they gain is from the Lord and they use verses from the Scripture to support their wickedness. Well if you mess with the Bible, God will mess with your mind.

True but the things of the Spirit of God has nothing to do with one being learned or educated. It’s the heart. Most authors of the Bible were common everyday people.

You see, I agree with you in parts. Yes they are scriptures that applies to the Jews at the time etc. In fact I was just thinking about it moments ago while reading the Bible.

But the issue of God's promises my dear is to you if you are a child of God. Righteousness does not only exalt a nation it also exalts individuals. It has the promise of life now is and of that which is to come.

I don't know if you have ever heard God speak to you audibly, you would find him talk to you in reverence to some scriptures in the old testament to give you assurance of his promises to you. Now this is a practical experience not an opinion or mere perception.

The world is under the control of an evil genius {Luke 4:8; John 14:30; 1John 5:19} this powerful spirit influences almost everything around us as the God of this system of things {2Corinthians 4:4} there's no how no matter how highly intelligent human can reason well enough to decode Satan's tactics, that's why God promised to dispense his holy spirit on few members of the Christian congregation in order for them to become wise enough to understand sacred secrets! Joel 2:28 compared to Act 2:16-18

So don't be deceived you can never understand God's word no matter how highly intelligent or meditation you go through you need the help of the Born Again Christians to unravel the things of God! Daniel 12:10

What matters now is IDENTIFYING those chosen to help you gain the accurate knowledge of God's word otherwise Satan will continue to blur your senses with mixed up human tradition in the name of religion! Romans 10:1-3

Jesus (God's only begotten SON) did not leave us in the dark, he gave us signs that will help us to IDENTIFY his group, all you need is first read through his words on how to know the group Jesus is using in our time, then you can now approach them to gain the knowledge that leads to everlasting life! John 17:3

They began preaching and teaching from house to house {Matthew 10:11-13; Act 20:20} Satan disrupt this arrangement after the death of the 12 pioneers of this assignment and ever since then spiritual darkness has taken over the whole world. It was 1919 that Jesus in his spirit form began leading his chosen group to start preaching and teaching from house to house again, last year marks 100 years of the activities of JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES, the global pandemic "Covid19" is the sign that it's a century this work has been ongoing as Jesus' group was ordered globally to stop visiting people as they've been doing since 1919.

So it was 1919-2019 due to Covid19!
I'm not saying everyone should see JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES as Jesus' group but i've gotten enough evidence to prove that Jesus' group will be one organization {John 17:20-23} everyone will know and testify to the Love they have amongst themselves {John 13:34-35} they will be peaceful and peace loving {John 14:27} everywhere they are so there can't be any weapon carrier amongst them {Matthew 26:52 compared to Micah 4:1-3} they will be known globally as zealous preachers and industrious teachers of God's word {2Timothy 4:1-5} and finally all the religionists on earth will vilify them {Matthew 10:22-25; John 17:14-16}

You can also do your own findings that's just my own, but you can ask further questions about them before considering studying God's word with them!

Brother, I totally understand your point but let me make a clear distinction between the Jews and the church.
1). The Jews are referred to as "the people of God" while Christians are referred to as "the children of God" which we got through adoption.

2). God’s promises to the Jews is different from that promised to a Christian. To the Jews, if they do right they will have prosperity, good health, things like that. On the other hand, to the Church, He promised us sufferings. Try to study all the apostle Paul’s epistles who is our pattern. Suffering is anything you go through in life. (2 Tim 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution). A Christian is in a wrestling match with the devil who is the god of this world (2 Cor 4:4). God didn’t promised us peace, the peace He promised us is inner peace which you find in Philippians 4:7. The reason why Christians don’t like this promises is simply covetousness: desiring something God did not intend for one to have.

3). God dealt with the Jews as a nation or people. For Christians, God is dealing with us as an individual or as a person. That’s why at the judgement seat of Christ every one will give an account of what he did in his body (2 Cor 5:10). That’s why the only thing that can change a man is the Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ, and the Kjv Bible. Other than that, there’s no difference between us and a boko haram terrorist.

Understanding simply means departing from evil. You know what evil is? Changing the word of God. Twisting the Scriptures to teach false doctrine just to support one’s narratives. You know what it means to understand the Bible? If God said it, that settles it. There’s no but. Now understanding the Bible is different from mastering the Bible. Nobody can master the Bible unless the idiot considers himself to be equal with God. But everyone can understand the Bible, and every Christian who is saved has the Holy Spirit in him who is the author of the Bible. That’s why you have to go to that Book with the right heart so that the author of the Book will interpret in to you. The Bible has only one interpretation (2 Peter 1:20).

The number one reason for false doctrine is not having the right Bible which is the KJV 1611. That’s why there’re over 200 modern versions of bibles.

How to identify a cult or a false doctrine congregation:
1). New revelation: It’s something that God told them and didn’t tell anyone else. They dont go by traditional doctrine and beliefs. They have got something new and exciting. Something that no one else has that they claimed that Jesus or God or an angel appeared to them in a dream or a vision and gave them something special. See Colossians 2:2-3 to refute this stupid claim.

2) A new interpretation: They are right and everybody is wrong. A good example is in 1 Timothy 2:11-12, a woman is not supposed to pastor a church. Then it went on to 1 Timothy 3 to give you the qualifications of a preacher. But look at churches filled with women on pulpit just to make everybody happy. God does not care if the whole world leaders are women, but as for the church, He was specific about it. Understanding simply means "If God said it, that settles it". To refute see 2 Peter 1:20.

3). They have a non Biblical source of authority. This means they have sacred writings in addition to the Bible. See Psalms 119:89

4). They believe in salvation by works. Works to get saved and works to stay saved. See Ephesians 2:8-9, 4:30, Titus 3:5

5). They have an earthly leader that’s been appointed by God to represent God while they are here on earth. See (Matt 24:4-5, 1 Corinthians 3:21).

6). They have another messiah. They teach that Jesus is a god and a created being. Sometimes a prophet or a good man, but he is not part of the trinity.

7). They reject Biblical Christianity. See Isaiah 5:20, Colossians 2:8

8 ) .They have a changing theology. Their doctrines are not clear. They keep changing their beliefs to fit into the society. See Ephesians 4:14-15, 2 Tim 3:7.

Now that you’re looking for the truth. What you need to do is ask God for the truth with a sincere heart. He will show you the truth. But the question is are you willing to pay the high cost? Why? People don’t want to pay the price for the truth. It’s either because they love their sins or that they don’t want to sacrifice something. As for me, I paid the price. It cost me everything. If you study carefully the epistles of Paul and Peter as regards suffering, it was addressed to the church at that time seeing the level of resistance Jews had toward a 'new order'. If I should go by your logic, today's Christians are not supposed to suffer persecution. In fact who is it that would want to persecute you? what reason will they give unlike the Jews. The reason why it seems there is no more persecutions is because the church is in an apostate. Maybe try living a holy Christian life and then see persecutions come your way. But disagreeing with the word of God will not make God to change His mind about judging us from His Book (Rom 3:3-4).

You’ll be in a conflict. The world will hate you just because you’re trying to love the Lord. People will make fun of you and call you born again or something else. Don’t you know all these is actually persecution. I mean Jesus asked His disciples over there in the book of John that "how come He has enemies and they don’t"? Ecc 1:18 says "more wisdom more grief, more knowledge more sorrows". You know why? When you’re filled with the wisdom and knowledge from God, you will live a sanctified separated life. You wont go to places you normally go to. You wont hang out with friends you normally hang out with. If sars harass you on the road when you do nothing wrong, then take one for the team (the body of Christ). See 1 Peter 4:12-16 for the Christian’s response to suffering.

Don’t you know all these is actually persecution. I mean Jesus asked His disciples over there in the book of John that "how come He has enemies and they don’t"? Ecc 1:18 says "more wisdom more grief, more knowledge more sorrows". You know why? When you’re filled with the wisdom and knowledge from God, you will live a sanctified separated life. You wont go to places you normally go to. You wont hang out with friends you normally hang out with. If sars harass you on the road when you do nothing wrong, then take one for the team (the body of Christ). See 1 Peter 4:12-16 for the Christian’s response to suffering.

The way you understand the Bible is very cagey. Let me tell you, just the same way sin brings physical sufferings the same way obedience to God's word beings physical blessings. If you doubt me try to indulge in sin for like 3 months and see what will happen to you. Also try to engage consciously in kingdom advancement endeavours with rewards mentality and watch how things will be like. God's kingdom is a kingdom of covenant. Do your part and let God do his part and you will see amazing benefits not just the spiritual house that God will build out of you but the real material blessings that goes with it. Everything I'm telling you here is based on personal experience in line with the scriptures.
