Hello everyone. Please for those in Ireland can you share your experience getting your GNIB done. I have just been able to get an appointment online. I have seen the requirements. But my concern is the payment of the 300eur. I am yet to open a bank account so I do not have an Irish bank atm card yet. Can I use another person's atm? Is that adviceable? Can I use my First bank Visa debit dom account atm card? I have been able to use it to withdraw euro here in Ireland. Please share your experience and advice. |

The immigration officer will instruct you, how to go about it. Just hold the cash, they will tell you to go and pay it in the bank. |

I think you mean the Bank Giro option (INIS explained the process here) http://www.inis.gov.ie/en/INIS/Pages/registration-office-visit Alternatively, apart from your own card or bank Giro, if the payee has a card owner in Dublin who agrees to help, you have to go along with the card owner for your appointment as they'd ask you to identify the owner of the card if it's not in your name Taej123: |

I am really not sure if Dublin Quay still issue Bank Giro forms or if banks can collect cash from you to process a bank Giro transaction. If the bank Giro option is still active, the officer at Dublin Quay will issue you a Giro form which you'd take to the bank. I am also not sure of other GNIB offices if you aren't going to register in Dublin. Generalbong1: |

Morning guys, Damage Control Please!! Already paid for MSc International Biz but i actually would have preferred MSc Business Analytics. Plus i hear the prospects of landing a job with MSc International biz is pretty low. Are there recognized professional short courses i could take (either virtual or physical) to increase my chances of landing a good job? In Any high demand skill eg IT, healthcare etc. Thank you for your anticipated response. |

Omon01: You could swap to HRM though or pretty much take LinkedIn courses on Data Analysis |

ICaSNg: Thanks for the response Bro. So is it safe to say they recognize LinkedIn courses more than the Udemy's and Coursera's?? I'm thinking more business analytics than Data. Thanks again. I welcome more ideas and suggestions from the house please. |

Omon01: Any of them is ok; only used LinkedIn as an example since you get a badge on your profile once you pass required tests. Data Analytics is embedded in Business Analytics, 80% of the same tools is required to function as professionals in both fields. 1 Like |
