Nollywood actress Chioma Ifemeludike has lamented what she referred to as disunity in the movie industry, Igbere TV reports.

The actress said in an Instagram post on Wednesday that the music industry was doing better than the movie industry.

Chioma also said that the music industry players should extend love to the movie industry, alleging that the women in Nollywood engage in unhealthy competition.

”Dear music legends in Nigeria this love your sharing can you extend it to Nollywood? Cos hate, envy, competition and jealousy have killed us.

“Nollywood is drawing back because of too many divisions, unions, organizations etc. NO UNITY, NO LOVE, NO SINCERITY OF PURPOSE!” she wrote.

The actress added: “The women in Nollywood are so competitive that they care less about love, the goal is whose butt go big pass the other or who got hourglass shape than the other, or which babe is more trendy! It’s so terrible that we have put vanity before humanity…”

it is no news.
Put a group of 10 men together and see how they would mix up together easily.
Then......
Put a group of 5 women together and see how they would form groups in twos and threes.
Nollywood is mostly ran by the females, they perceive competition among themselves on who comes out best and hence no love flowing. Unlike the music industry where males dominate.
That should be the reason.

It is very common among ladies
They like to involve sentiments even in the workplace.
Unnecessary competitions here and there,
gossiping, keeping malice, etc.
If you want your business to crumble, employ only women
Anyway Nigerian ladies are not worth the stress
Many of them are legit hustlers in the day and prostitutes at night

With all these newly upcoming actors and actresses (especially the actresses. Don't really know women hate themselves that much. Tufiakwa!!) that are only concerned about what they'll get and not what they'll give out.

d days of real "nollywood" is gone, these days what we jus see are sets of upcoming slay qweens sleeping with those wacky producers for roles jus to get fame..
once they get a little fame, they extend thier network online and start fishing for big gods who end up empowering them to buy houses and cars..
at the long run, those with pure talents dt refuse to "do the righh thing" to get key roles get frustrated out of the industry and d circle continues..
am happy for Netflix and other sites bcox I cnt spend my time watching Nigeria movies except comedy skits..
