Yes o, he's making a case for himself. But he needs to work on his fitness and conditioning.

Most folks hitting back, might have not watched Awoniyi play.

"Open reproof is better than concealed love."

Understood that Awoniyi has struggled over the last few years and folks are happy for him. But this is his first season of accruing over 600 minutes in 2 years and everyone is tipping him as second best.

If there is no criticism, then there is no room for improvement. I have watched majority of his game and he has not been up to average, even when he has scored.

He is unfit, lacks technique or agility, good with headers and positioning. If this is how he is at his best form imagine how he will be out of form.

Football is more than goals.

TheLoneCitizen:
This is actually not based on other players performances, but rather on his own performances.

I believe you did not watch the match. Awoniyi is extremely unfit and relies heavily on his strength, which is a bad thing for a technical league like the Bundesliga.

Dortmund had almost 70% possession yet he was panting as if he had been chasing the Golden Snitch from Harry Potter all game.

4 goals in 8 starts is impressive for a league like Bundesliga, but football is more than goals.
I would love it if you can analyse all Nigeria foreign based players like you analysed Awoniyi.

Football is more than goal?your own opinion but as you said 4 goals in 8 bundesliga matches is impressive, serious you nailed it.

I think with more goals he deserves eagles invitation, hope to see him turning out good for us and if he doesn't measure up bye bye.

VANDREZZAR FC WILL REVOLUTIONIZE NIGERIAN FOOTBALL

I believe Vandrezzar fc is a visionary club that will revolutionize club and national football in Nigeria.
They are run like an European club and they have a vision.
In the next 5 years they will be known globally.
Its rare for Africans to do things with a vision but Vandrezzar is different.
They are run like an European club with modern facilities and i am excited anytime i think about them.
Allready they are the most followed Nigerian club on social media and they are making huge strides
Their website is top notch with information about the players
THIS CLUB WILL CHANGE NIGERIAN FOOTBALL
I believe we should appreciate their efforts here.
They understand how to develop football and they are going about it with gusto

I hope so too. Nigerian football badly needs something like this.
They even brought modern sporting equipment and have an academy headed by Austin Eguavon
Their coach is a Brazilian called Rafael Everton.
Nigerian football needs to be rebranded and i sincerely hope they succeed
