Hello Guys,

I'm back again. In 2018, I created a thread that got suspended where I was talking about the rudiments of hacking, Cryptography, Network Security and others. And also due to my tight schedule, I couldn't find adequate time to release more content. Thus everything came to an end.

However, I keep on getting messages from people asking... How can I begin a career in cybersecurity? Are there Jobs for a security analyst in Nigeria? Does this discipline pay well? Do I need to have a strong IT background or not? Where exactly can I work? Can I practice as a consultant? And this questions continue.......

To be frank, I've received a number of professional certifications in both Security and Networking and I have one thing to say... It's CRAP.

Let me explain.. Yes.. The workplace needs you to have these certifications or some experience before they can employ you. But as far as knowledge is concerned.. You'll hardly learn anything tangible. I can't believe people are still being taught things like SQL Injection Attack. How do you really want to apply that in today's world that's fast changing?

I'm not saying you don't need Certificates. I have a number of them and I'll be sitting for more professional exams in 2021. However, why don't you really learn what it means to be a Hacker.

As a Certified Ethical Hacker, I'm ready to show a few people how to start a career in cybersecurity and more importantly introduce them to a hands-on approach where they learn how to secure devices, databases, personal data and networks. I'll answer your questions on which certifications you need and where exactly you can find opportunities.

And please if you are thinking of paying me, forget it. I figured out that someone just starting is in a tight corner and every little assistance can go a long way. However when you are successful, I don't mind you paying in dollars (not naira please).

Let me know what you think. If you are interested just comment below. Kudos.

Thanks Capon. You're almost right. But I believe something can still work out. Let's allow the celebration period to end and begin properly on January.

Meanwhile, I'll still share the link so I can reach out and keep tabs with people.
