I would love it if you can analyse all Nigeria foreign based players like you analysed Awoniyi.
Do that a lot, especially to players we admire.

As fans we should not focus on only the good side of players and ignore his flaws. If so, the player is perfect, then.

The funny thing about folks on this thread is whenever a player hits a good run of form, everyone is instantly calling for his national invitation.

Iwobi having an excellent game per usual
Your view, brother, but I strongly believe there was no 'excellence' in that performance, that was decent.

Excellence was against Chelsea and Leicester, though. Up the Toffees.

What else is in football if it is more than goals? na so you talk say Dessers better pass haaland because he dey run enter net

Football is about scoring goals my man, nobody will look at your skills if you don't score or at least assist
I never said football is not "about scoring goals", goals is football itself.

I implied that a justification of a player doesn't stop at how many goals he scored, or else there will be no need for scouts.

To ascertain a footballer's quality, you need to access more than goals, brother.

So football is about goals but that is just the beginning, it doesn't end there. That's my insinuation.

After fighting so hard to get him and pay a huge amount

Dude wasn’t given any chance at Leipzig that’s why he wasn’t called a flop

But if it’s a german player that fail to have a chance in the epl the British media will call him a flop immediately

Since Onuachu is misfiring then any striker that is having it good should be invited.Osimehn need backup.

Pep is actually tired of Man city

He doesn’t even win ball possession battle again
Tired? When Mourinho's Chelsea were leaking goals they said he has lost his tactical touch nobody said he's tired undecided

I understand what you are trying to say but not all strikers will know how to multitask, some can only score goals which I think is just fine. Players like Auba, Aguero, Nistelroy are useless in doing any thing aside scoring goals

Auba and aguero can still come from d sides or play as a supporting striker(position 8. )

I was expecting u to mention strikers like haaland, nisterooy, inzaghi, ...dis re box 18 strikers(goal poachers) cool

We are talking about strikers here and goals is what separates them from the rest, it is their defining quality.

The justification of a striker starts and stops at the number of goals he scores every other game week, what other qualities do you want to see from strikers?

Leicester City are planning to make a January move for Chelsea Academy product Michael Olise amid interest from other Premier League clubs, according to reports.

Eurosport claims that the Foxes have identified the Reading playmaker as their alternative target if their move for Celtic's Ryan Christie falls through.

Olise has taken the Championship by storm this season, playing every single game contested by the Royals in the Championship, including Saturday's 3-1 loss to Brentford where he provided an assist for the consolation goal scored by Nigeria international Sone Aluko.

With four goals and seven assists to his name, the 19-year-old is one of the most productive teenagers in England's top four tiers in the 2020-2021 season.

He has also attracted interest from his former club Chelsea as well as Liverpool, Manchester City and Leeds United.

Leicester City believe Olise will bring extra creativity to the side if they win the race for his signature.

The France youth international of Nigerian descent has entered the final eighteen months of his contract with Reading.
