The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God. So He is a part of God's makeup. The Part that does the Works and makes things happen.

So the word "Spirit" can be used interchangeably with "Power", because that's what Spirit connotes.

It's just like someone who has become weak. You could say the person has lost his spirits. It's the spirit of man that gives him the ability to do things he does. So it could also be said to be the power of man.

Your idea that the star led them first to Herod and not Bethlehem is false, because Bethlehem was in Judea and Herod was king of Judea.

And when strangers usually got into a country, they'd first be interrogated of their mission to the country, which explains why the wise men revealed their mission to king Herod.

It is words on paper, the author of gospel according to mathew did not say he knew mary, or that joseph is his elder brother. He is not connected to any of the character in the story just lime the author of harry potter(JK Rowling) is not connected to any character in the story he is telling....

The old testament never said God will impregnate another mans wife to sire a son and that we are to kill him and sacrifice him to God.
