LordReed:
For reference: Here is someone who has had a personal experience with a greek god, Hermes.

funny, you know just some hours ago i was thinking of a certain statement loj made concerning his encounter or rather experience with the entity "lucifer". unfortunately, he has deactivated and i can't seem to trace the thread...oh hold that thought, here we have miss MizMyColi also asking the same question on her own thread i was thinking of asking loj..

i am yet to find loj's response because i am still on page one as i type. Before i find loj's comment or response to the OP it intrigued me today or was it yesterday, on the idea of loj and of course lord sarassin defining lucifer as a deity. it intrigues me because from my understanding of the books of Isaiah, i have come to understand lucifer to be the personification of a great nation(obviously babylon at its peak of greatness). Some say lucifer is another name for the celestial object that -just so happens to be synonymous to that which the character, ascended master iesus aka yeshua ben yosef also depicts.However, in an allegorical manner.

This is loj's comment to which i highlighted some mind boggling ideas;
The Story is told in the hebrew bible about how David was led to number the children of Israel. This story is stated in 2 places of the scriptures:
2 Samuel 24:1 “Again the anger of the LORD was aroused against Israel, and He moved David against them to say, ‘Go, number Israel and Judah.’”
1 Chronicles 21:1: “Now Satan stood up against Israel, and moved David to number Israel.”
If those accounts are anything to go by, we are left with an intriguing biblical fact: God and satan seem to be one and the same person, or at least, work hand in hand. Interestingly, the account of Job's trial confirms this to be true.

Even more worrisome to the mind is sarassin's comment which i have quoted below;

However, the Book of Job clarifies things a bit more, Satan is presented in his full status, he alone of all the angels does not defer to God, he parleys with God, he is cast as the executor of God’s will. However, the Rabbis rejected Enochian literary works in their scriptures and made every attempt to root them out rejecting any belief in rebel or fallen angels. They did not wish mythology to become a part of doctrine, therefore Satan was never eminent in the OT.

Another Dose of sarassin 500mg tablet; grin grin
Lucifer is of course a deity most closely aligned with the interplanetary aspect of Venus, you already know all the appellations, Lucifer is invoked under the proper names and under the proper circumstances for that which he teaches, he is primarily a teacher as his name reflects. I would not advise naming a child Lucifer because of social connotations therefore for once I agree with Butter..flylion.

So just like the atheist in the video my lordreed has gracefully shared, i am left with the question;
1) What does it mean to experience such entities which are unavailable to others like myself?
2) Otematum has even more crazy idea, but this too are just his own experience.
3) if experience is therefore subjective, then GOD,God,god and gods are all but an interpretation of the individual with the experience....

lucifer, that name fascinates me. It fascinated me so much that when i got my first symbian phone it was loaded with saved pages of names of demons and angels, and their roles, and what-have-you.. At 16 i had already downloaded the testament of solomon just to peep into the obscured language in it. Of course there were rumors that if you read the book without being an initiate, you would run mad. so i avoided reading it out loud grin grin grin
i wonder what it would be like to experience shango, osun, oladumare, etc.... how comes no one experiences this Gods on this forum??
meanwhile news for the day:
a moderator banned budaatum for "You are very stupid and ignorant! No one said you could not edit a wikipedia page. Anyone can as you'd see from the terms of condition of the bet I posted which got me banned but which I've managed to have reinstated as you can clearly see here." Bullying/Insulting a nairalander. Tozara:
I'm very sorry about that, boss. You know I've opened many nairaland accounts in the past, so apart from my main e-mail account, I never check some of those e-mails again (because they're many), and unless I have it on the G-mail app on my phone, I'll never know that I've got a mail. I didn't reply because I didn't see it. Sorry about that.

So, yeah, I still have the books. I'm sending you a PM right away.

Hi bro. I got a notification of a pm from you, I used a random email to set up this account and I don’t have access to it anymore.
Please email me at colaf443@gmail.com

Asda because they are the cheapest near me. I passed Aldi on the way and Tescos is just a further stop on a bus at no extra cost. I bought Lurpak butter. Its about the only one on the shelf with 100% buttermilk. All the rest are 28 or so percent with rapseed and palm oil. If I wanted palm oil there's a Yoruba woman selling it across the road. I bought flour too ( for bread making), olive oil and mushrooms for my supper tonight of rice with fish in a tomato and mushroom sauce. All freely chosen by me and no one or nothing else. And as you can see, none is an illusion.

Can I come over for that meal?

Funny. Thread got deleted before I could reply you.

Bacteriologist:

Again you can say that. But in christianity, insanity is relative.

Someone sowing his school fees as seed for financial breakthrough is obviously stupid in the real world but he's showing his faith in god in christianity.

People eat grass in church in the belief that god is telling them what to do. To the real world is batshit crazy.

I insist, Christianity, there's a very thin line between insanity and exhibiting faith.
Insanity is relative in humans and I'm certain you do not believe all or even most Christians eat grass or sow their schoolfees.

I've heard of insane bacteriologists for instance, but I bet you'd consider me insane or at least deficient in intelligence and the ability to reason if I assumed therefore that all bacteriologists are insane.

The God book of Christians is a rather big book, and I think it insane, or at least, ignorant, for anyone to consider all things Christians do is gotten from reading it.

My dear budaatum what do you think of this:

People don't want the stress of engaging their brains to figure things out in the ever evolving complex interaction we call life. Rather they want rules that define how they live and absolve themselves of responsibility of thinking.

I do not agree at all, my Lord, for it is not that "People don't want", but that they have been programmed to believe they must not engage their brains, because if they engage their brain how would they be exploited and enslaved?

And that is why the story of Adam and Eve is such an amazing myth and why we must thank the Gods for the priviledge of reading it. For while it is used to shut down the brains of the unthinking, it opens the minds of those who eat.

Are the Gods not indeed so loving and infinitely wise?

meanwhile news for the day:
Personally, I have had dreams over the years where I saw some dead relatives and got some information from them.

These are some of my personal experiences that convinced me that there's life after death and that consciousness (soul) is immortal.

I also follow scientific research on consciousness-related issues and know their limitations.

However, I'm aware that for others to take this personal experience of mine as a fact, it needs to be verifiable (by others).

A person might see past humans like Sango, Osun, and co, who were deified in the past as god/goddess, in a dream or meditation, but he/she could choose to call them other names like ETs or beings in other dimensions (parallel worlds).

OtemAtum is one guy I find very interesting. Having read his book, I can say there are many historical facts in it.

But there are many parts of the book that I can't say whether they're real or fictional.

However, 3 important reasons why I can't consider the histories in the book as a mere personal experience is due to the Seriot language he brought, the local histories in the book, and the etymology of various names in the Bible, Qur'an, and other historical figures.

The Seriot language is wondrous and looks like a natural language. I first learned the language in 2018 and am still learning it.

I don't honestly think the brain of one guy can manufacture the histories in that book with that depth and the natural language (Seriot). It looks highly impossible.
