Massive Jubilations as Kogi Workers Receive Salaries before Christmas

Following Gov. Yahaya Bello's order, Kogi state civil servants have started receiving their December salaries since 22nd of the month.

Over the past one year, Gov. Yahaya Bello has topped list of Governors who have been consistently paying salaries to her civil servants.

Recall that the Yahaya Bello's administration initially inherited a 4months salary debt from the previous Government, but within some months as Governor, he started massive staff verification and today, the story is different. He has also paid all outstanding salaries to Kogi workers owed by the previous administration.

Yahaya Bello of Kogi state have been paying full salaries to all state workers and they usually receive salaries before 24th of every month.

One of the state workers, Mrs Alami Sunday told our correspondent that Yahaya Bello has impressed her a lot with the current salary structure and prompt payment. She said " I'm grateful for what we are experiencing in Kogi today. In the previous Governments, it used to be percentage salaries, but today, Yahaya Bello has changed our story".

Another state worker, Boniface Achimugu also said that the prompt payment of salaries will make the festivities interesting for his family.

Gradually, the state civil service reforms by Gov. Yahaya Bello has gained massive commendations from Kogites and Nigerians, especially the automated system introduced.

Kogi state civil servants have long taken to banks to receive their payments ahead of the Christmas and new year celebrations.

Kindly verify if he is paying 100% salary first. This is because last I heard from the state, he has been and consistently paying 35% salary to staff who dare not complain.

LIKE STALIN, LIKE GYB

Apparently, during the final days of the collapsing Marxist experiment in the Soviet Union, on one occasion, Stalin called for a live chicken. He used it to make an unforgettable point before some of his henchmen.

Forcefully clutching the chicken in one hand, with the other he began to systematically remove its feathers.

We are told that as the chicken struggled in vain to escape, he continued with the painful denuding until the bird was completely stripped.

“Now you watch,” Stalin said - as he placed the chicken on the floor and walked away with some bread crumbs in his hand.

It is further suggested that the chicken followed him nevertheless.

Stalin threw a handful of grain to the bird, and it began to follow him around the room, he turned to his dumbfounded colleagues and people who were watching and said quietly, “This is the way to rule the people.”

He asked: “Did you see how that chicken followed me for food, even though I had caused it such torture?

He further concluded: “People are like that chicken. If you inflict inordinate pain on them they will follow you for food the rest of their lives.”

Like Stalin, Like GYB

Look at what the average Nigerian has been reduced to. People now celebrate for collecting their rights, then the governor would look like a saint sent down from heaven.

God who did we offend?

Na wa o. Well if all they typed there is true then good for him and his people. But I have been seeing one joke about him trying to be president, he should respect himself and focus on his work before he loses the little regards he enjoys now. Presidency is not for reckless people. Even though Buhari has failed, he is still respected because of his composure.

This write up is definitely by one of Yahaya Bello's supporter, written strictly to massage his ego and paint him as a good person.

But we know the truth. shocked
